Great course, come a long way!
This course has came a long way in the last couple years. The greens still had just a few spots but other then that played true and fast. It’s a great layout without water so great for the beginner golfer! My daughter and I went out during the week and it was empty but the grounds crew was hard at work.

What a pleasant surprise - fun,challenging 9 hole course.
Challenging course for a 9 hole…Definitely had to use all my clubs ….Had a lot fun and definitely will be playing again

nice course, blind holes made it a challenge. Enjoyed the course.

Pace of play was terrible. Better than 4 hours to play wait on every hole
great local course!
Fernando course very nice mix of long drives in part 3 in the course was in pretty good shape for this time of year especially :-) pace was great there was no one rushing us !
Too Much Crab grass
The amount of crab grass on in the fairways made playing less than enjoyable. Hopefully, this issue will be addressed and I would be willing to recommend thi course again.

Another Surprise In Alton, IL
Not a bad course. Greens were small, but in great shape with consistent speed. Played on a Saturday afternoon (1130). Pace of play was fantastic! Never had to wait or be pushed. I will go back for another quick nine!

i rate this very high for only having nine holes. play your second nine at the Wadlow course! this course helped keep me sane while living in Alton! very challenging and I never got sick of golfing The Rock!

good to see someone investing in this course. I grew up playing this course, it is special to me lots of good memories. staff is very accommodating. i was on a tight schedule to get in nine holes before work, let me start on hole six, thanks guys. also thanks to whoever found my head cover. staff called and left message. the boss needs to know when his employees do the little extra things !!! thanks to golfer that turned in head cover. thanks Ron for calling !!!!!! V.V.H. management thanks for keeping golf affordable and fun.
