Rough day.
Great golf course. All the new maintenance is great. New bunkers are amazing. But……on this day I got stuck behind two groups of 5 golfers in each group. And they had a combo of carts and walkers. Very frustrating. In addition the grounds crew were watering the greens, which is fine, but they wouldn’t get off so you could play.
I left and did not complete my round. I did notify the club house of my displeasure. They issued a refund.
This course needs Marshalls that run the course. They also need to manage groups better. First tee is a free for all. I have witnessed golfers go from their car straight to the tee and not check-in, so I only assume they played for free.
Perfect course especially for beginners
Really enjoyable course nothing to hard and well maintenanced. Friendly staff! You want an easy day on the course or just getting into golf this course is perfect for everyone!
Great improvements!!!
They’re really making some improvements all around the course. The greens have smooth out and are so much quicker. I’m going to have to up my game.
Looking forward to going back and playing it again!
Privalaliged round
Felt great to play on the historic religious grounds with a couple of younger locals that I joined. Didn't score well but had some good shots for my second time out this year. Lovely buildings on the course made playing here worthwhile and memorable!
Like new
Amazing renovations of the course. Pot bunkers! Nothing else like it in Kansas City. More renovations coming.
Renovations
Wait until they are done with their renovations. Not worth the price at the moment but maybe when they finish cleaning everything up.
A unique course!
A challenging fun course all around. They’re doing some construction but can’t be mad about that. Greens in great condition. Very affordable too
Tough 9 holer
There is a ton of work going on right now, but when completed, this hidden gem is going to play tough. All green side buckers are being redone with much deeper entrances, and the facings are being grassed. They are also doing tee now work and extending a tee box farther back into the woods, #6. Right now, there's some hold ups with workers on the course, but totally playable.
Looking forward to the renovation being completed.
bunkers are amazing. greens perfect
early in the year and this place is amazing - must play.
Amazing!!
Unity Village Golf Course is an absolute hidden gem!! Everything was amazing, from the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff to the course conditions. It is a challenging 9 hole course, but is forgiving as well. My golf buddies and I had a blast today, and we will definitely be back. The value of the items in the clubhouse is great as well. If anyone wants to play a round thats fun, challenging with a great, friendly staff, Unity Village Golf Course is the way to go!!!
Love the layout, but disappointed in condition of course
Been to Unity plenty of times and played local courses multiple times.
I have not been more disappointed in a course condition, fairways were concrete, construction equipment everywhere. Multiple holes had machinery and large dug up areas, where the average golfer would most likely hit into these areas.
I understand its end of February but to pay full price with construction going on and on top of that hitting off of mats was disappointing. Mainly due to not being informed prior to tee time/booking. Would’ve definitely gone any where else locally. Like Stone Canyon(played mid February and in good condition) that is located 10 miles away, for the same price.
Nice open course
Plenty of room and wide fairways. Enjoyed playing several par fours are reachable.
