Teet
Great course for the money. Back nine is in great shape. Friendly staff.
Teetering review
Worst course in North America. I paid online a few days prior, then I get the the course and to my suprise the entire front 9 is closed. I had no prior warning until I made the 40 minute drive. Pro shop refused to refund my money even though I was only going to play the back 9. I ended up attempting to play since I wouldn't get money back, but the course conditions made it near impossible to putt the ball, so I drove through the course and went to play somewhere else. The back 9 also has 6 par 3s so I basically paid 40 dollars to play a par 3 course.
Greens are in amazing shape!
This course has a lot of character. Played it today with my Dad and had a great time. The course is in great shape especially the greens. It’s a hidden gem in KCMO
Short course, requires accuracy.
I enjoyed Teetering Rocks. It's a 'must ride' course and has some unique holes. Only a couple of good driver holes, it's mostly short and tight with several doglegs and placement shots required and several challenging par 3 holes. The par is around 66. Greens had nice undulations and tiers and were in good condition and rather fast. Conditions were a bit muddy due to recent rains and cold weather in February but it was very playable. Staff is nice. No driving range, there is a putting green. Recommended for a change of pace.
A nice little day out.
If you’re a golfer that takes the game of golf too seriously, then this place is not for you. If you’re a golfer that likes to play the game of golf, experience pleasant vibes, set in a charming little neighborhood, then this place is for you.
Course conditions are in need of improvement in certain areas, but after having a conversation with one of the chaos behind the front desk, about the transfer of ownership, good things are now in motion for this place.
I am a 3.7hcp and I love playing this course. Do wish it was a longer course? Yes. Do I enjoy challenging par 3’s? Yes.
I play here almost every week and I’ve only ever had one experience that irked me, and it was nothing to do with the course itself. All in all, Teetering Rocks is a great little course for players of all levels!
Course in excellent condition
My husband and I hadn’t played this course in years and wasn’t expecting it to be in good shape. However, tge course was in excellent shape. The fairways and greens were especially good. I highly recommend this course.
Amazing Staff!!
Staff was amazingly kind and considerate and accommodating!!! It was my wife's first time ever on a golf course playing so she was very nervous but she felt very comfortable during the whole round. Many thanks!!!
Quirky but fun
I love this course. It used to be run down, from what I hear. I only discovered it this year, and it's been great. We play it at least twice a month.
Hidden gem
I love this course. It's a great value, and tee times are easier to get than most courses in the area. The fairways and greens are in good shape. Many of the holes are novel and fun to play (driveable par 4 w a rock wall backstop around the green, par 3 off a hill to a heart shaped green). The deep rough is close to the fairways, so best to stay on the straight and narrow. Par 66 with more par 3 holes than usual, which cuts playing time and improves scores. The atmosphere is very casual. The staff are nice and helpful. Carts have accurate GPS. The only thing missing is a driving range for warmup.
Beautiful but SLOW
It was really a beautiful course. A lot of work being done, but it was extremely slow play. Price was great though and I will probably go back a someday.
Teetering Rocks
Course was in pretty rough shape. Tee boxes were incredibly muddy. Par 66 played as par 64 because one of two par fives was under construction.
