good old school 9
First time playing, complete course green and in very good shape from tee to green.
No Starter so they had 2 sums with 4 sums and very slow. 18 holes (2 cycles of same 9 holes) took 4:40
The slow play did give us a chance to find balls, 39 on one hole. almost 100 between the two of us.
Main thing about the challenge of this course, the greens are old school small, slightly domed, and it is summer, so they are moderately fast.
Cheap and Decent
Played here mostly because the prices are consistent, no price hike for morning tee times and we weren't looking to spend double just to beat the afternoon heat. 9 hole course you just play twice for 18. The course is well kept, looks like any decent course out there, a hidden gem if looks were the only factor. Fairly easy course, par 72 if you play 18. Only drawback was pace of play by some groups, so we skipped a few holes entirely and played a couple twice because nobody was behind and a bottleneck was in front of us. It's a cheap course open to the public and dress code isn't exactly enforced, there were some VERY "casual" golfers out there who were not good which meant they were sloooow. But truly I like this course, just be aware its a more casual environment. Don't expect marshals out there enforcing every rules and pace of play, it's not that fancy a course.
Good time
Picked this course because it was only one that some tee times. Had a great time! Very forgiving fairways and small greens made for a fun challenge. Friendly staff.
Easy 9 hole course great for beginners
The course wasn’t in the best condition for mid to late April in this area. The staff was nice and fairly helpful. The course is only 9 holes but if you are playing with beginners it is great for that. It’s wide open which can be forgiving and allow you to have some fun while also being competitive.
Great value
Place is pretty unique. Only 9 holes, filled with challenging/incredibly sandy greens and some very creepy scenery. Would play again.
Hidden gem for the price
Course is short, but surprisingly well maintained. Greens are quick and roll well. Lots of people walk this course so be prepared for a slower day if your in a cart. Overall enjoyed the course. Would play again
Work needed
Inexpensive round of golf for 9 holes. Did not have a Marshall to control the pace of play and took over 3 hours to play 9 holes.
The tee boxes for the blue, white and red were hard to distinguish or locate at all.
