Decent course and the staff was friendly.. Will play it again...
Made me pair up again
1. The course was covered heavily with leaves.
2. They made me pair up with people who didn't have a clue how to golf...started 11am and finished a little after 5pm.
Staff very nice really enjoyed my round of golf. Thank you
Average Course
Staff was nice, good pace, greens were a little rough, fairways were OK, and tee boxes were OK. Would play for the rate $21.
Shamrock Country Club
Course is in great shape working really hard to make it a top notch Golf Course putting in new car paths they put a lot of time and money into this course very highly recommended
Better than most
Lots of "premium" courses in KC .. where conditions are just okay. I hadn't played this course in years.. it used t be half goat ranch... they introduced zoisia fairways and they are immaculate! Like hitting off of carpet! It's a shorter course ... but pretty... love the course and staff. Expect slower play but enjoy the day and the course!!
Enjoyable course with excellent fairways and greens
Nice layout with rolling hills and plenty of nice large trees. Enjoyed the recent improvements made to this course. The zoysia grass fairways and bent grass greens were a real treat. In my opinion, although not necessary, replacing the sand in the bunkers with powdery white sand would enhance this nice course.
Shamrock
Course was in great shape . Staff is always professional and friendly . The greens were very consistent and fast . Great Job Shamrock staff as always will play again this yr and beyond.
Course
Had a very good time the course seem to have a lot of water from the recent storms but they cleaned it up pretty well
Nice place
The course was nice, ran into a good bit of waiting on most all of the back 9 . Overall I would play here again!
Greens are in great shape
The course is narrow with small greens but overall was in good shape. Greens here are the best they have been in years.
Easy Course in Good Condition
I played this course for the first time in February 2016. It was overall in pretty good shape for being what should be a nasty time of year in Missouri. The course can be tight and is tree-lined, so hit 'em straight. The staff was very friendly, and it's got a driving range (although, it uses floating golf balls, which are weird). Three criticisms: (1) there appeared to be a lot of beginners and hackers on the course, which really slowed things down to a crawl; (2) it was relatively common to have players taking shots from fairways on the wrong hole; and (3) the price is a little high for the overall quality, but I'd go back again.
Shamrock Hills Golf Course
course in good condition owners are working hard to make it great and it's a challenge 4 beginners and weekend golfers staff very friendly fun place to play.
Hot Hot Hot
We played on the hottest day of the year so far and only went 114 holes. We seniors can not take the heat amy more
Good Old Style Course
Holes seem somewhat easy, but they end up being challenging due to so many trees and small greens that are domed. If you get off line at all, you have tree trouble. If you miss the green, you hit the slope and the ball rolls away. Greens were good, but had lots of slope, so hard to get close if you missed the green. Fun course - not in the nest condition, but great value for the money.
Course keeps getting better
I've been playing Shamrock for years...but it's never been so well kept..
there are improvements in the works, so here and there there's construction but overall it's in great shape.
Greens are better than they've ever been. For the money, it's as good as you can get.
Excellent Course conditions
The course conditions were the best I've seen in the area for this time of year.
