Excellent layout! The views were beautiful. The course was in excellent condition. If you weren’t familiar with the layout, the pace of play was affected. It took nearly 5 hours to play- having to wait for groups in front of us..

Top-notch course with excellent fairways and smooth, fast green. Best feature is the surrounding forest and hills of the Ozarks.

Great course, well maintained and beautiful views. Our second time playing this course and is a favorite in the Branson area. Good value especially if you take advantage of twilight pricing.

Excellent round, spectacular views and course was in top shape. Greens we were told were running 11 and they did not let us down! Thoroughly enjoyed the layout and staff. Played after 3pm and did get a better rate but finished in under 4 hrs.

The pace of play was not good, even though there was a marshal. for the price, I would have expected guys to help you load your clubs and clean them when we were finished. The starter was the only bright spot.

You can pay more or less money to play other courses in the Branson area but Ledgestone is the best course to play.

A must play in this area. If your in Branson you have to play this course, a hidden gem. A course can is up to par with any course in the area. With better scenery then even some of the Bid Cedar courses.

The Good: Ruggedly pretty design from Tom Clark that weaves through lots of forests, wetlands, and houses amidst an upscale resort retirement community near Branson, MO. Incredible elevation changes and difficult even from the fairway due to uneven lies. Decent course conditions and greens that putt well. Impressive clubhouse with full restaurant and meeting area. Strong service for the price. Very good Par 3's, especially with the stone croppings adding ambiance.

The Bad: Course conditions, while pretty good, are not where they need to be for the Benjamin price tag. While the residential community does not overly impede on the actual golf, some of homes take away from the beauty of the course. Greens fees are on-par with other great courses in Branson but should be $10-$15 lower.

The Verdict: Ledgestone is an imaginative golf experience with a design that is difficult but very fun to play. The clubhouse and off-course amenities are superb. One of the better Branson golfing options you will find, especially if you want to avoid breaking the bank.

Best Hole: The down-hill Par 3 15th over water is overlooked by a stone amphitheater. Bring your camera!

Don't forget about ledgestone when talking about all the new Johnny Morris courses and Branson as a golf destination. This is definitely the sleeper. Not quite as new or well manicured as an Ozark National but at way less than half the price, probably just as fun if not more fun to play. Some great hole designs and a cool clear creek that runs through several holes. If you are looking for the crown jewels of Branson, go with buffalo ridge, Ozark National, or Payne's Valley, but if you are looking at best value in Branson look into ledgestone!
