Heritage Glen Golf Club

About
Heritage Glen Golf Club in Paw Paw is definitely a contender for most scenic golf course in Michigan. The rolling hills and valleys of the state's "wine country" provide the setting for the course. The layout has an interesting mix of holes with some that have a Scottish-links style while others are so lined with trees that it feels like you're in the North woods. Overall, it's a player-friendly golf course but there are some challenging par 5s and you'll definitely get a chance to work on your iron game. Heritage Glen's sixth hole might turn out to be one of the hardest par 5s you'll ever play. It stretches to 625 yards from the back tees with a marsh to the left and a bunker surrounding the green. Bogie is considered a good score on this tough hole.

What a beautiful course!
First time here. All the reviews are dead on. Play this course! It is a beauty! Very picturesque. Many holes seemingly could be their signature hole. We were just so impressed with the condition and the scenic beauty of it. Haven't played a course this year that we were so pleased with. Staff also very friendly as it had rained a little before our arrival, and the man came outside and wiped off the seats of our cart. Class move greatly appreciated! Heritage Glen is a place I wish were closer to home, but will make the hour plus drive a lot more God willing.b

Put this on your list to play
When you look at the card from the White tees it will seem on the short side. Yes there are some short par 4's but not a direct shot. Par 5's from the tee present a blind shot more just from lack of familiarity and where to play you shot. Greens were in excellent condition. They rolled true and smooth with good speed. We played the white tees and easily could have played the blues. We played on group golfer coupon which limited us to starting after 11 on the weekend. But the course was not busy at this time and we moved very well.
Great course
A beautiful landscaped Golf Course super fun to play you use all your golf clubs at this course always in good condition always enjoy playing at Heritage Glen each time I show it to a new friend they fall in love with the course as well
This course is very challenging
The fairways, approaches and greens are extremely well kept.
The golf cart that we had surged just slightly, so you may want to make sure to test out the golf cart that that you choose, before hitting the course.
That was the ONLY issue that we had, and so minimal.
Awesome Course
Heritage Glen is a great course! The greens are faster then we have been playing and the traps have great sand, the best I have seen all year. Overall fair but challenging.
Fantastic course conditions.
We have played this course several times over the years. Conditions this year are awesome! True rolling, lush, fast greens, yet receptive to well placed approach shots. Fairways are beautifully green, thick and not soft (i.e. you will get some roll out). Bunkers were in good condition, but some have stones in them. I simply choose not to play out of bunkers with stones. I scarred up a wedge from a stone under the grass on one hole. Unfortunate. At least the bunkers were playable unlike many courses I have played who think they are a nuisance to maintain and simply don't. I highly recommend this course. A course in this condition with a senior rate on Tuesdays of $23.00 is like playing for free.
Very nice
Tightly mowed fairways, fast greens, neat layout, very nice overall
Awesome Greens
First time playing this course and what a gem! From the Fairway to the green the course was just in tip top shape. The greens are some of the best in western/southwestern Michigam. Will be bac soon!
Great course .. The only thing I would like to see improved is better sand in the bunkers. Many had a lot of stones in them.
Heritage Glen
Beautiful course and layout, best greens in the area.
No food or bar open neither of the 4 times I've played there. Always play early morning but no water or anything offered on the course.
Tight but nice.
Great course in good shape for this early in the season. The fairways are tight with trouble on both sides (lost a lot of balls) but a good track and lots of fun.
Who Doesn't Love HG
First time playing Heritage Glen in quite a while. Still in great shape and still a very fun layout!
Great course
Very challenging and in excellent condition.
Hidden Gem
I can't believe I had never heard of this course. Great layout and in fantastic condition. This might be the best course for the money I've played all year. Check it out.
Slow Play
We was a twosome and big group from Chicago was there. So they was no playing through. There was no one behind us so we just kept busy. Played the par 3 twice. Went back on other holes and played from 150 yards. Well 4-1/2 for a twosome too long. Bad timing on us.
Great Golf walk on a beautiful day.
Back nine tighter than front. Great challenges..
Challenging course
Would like to play this course again in better weather, it offers a variety of holes that can be mastered.
Very slow play
This was a 6 hour plus round. A large group was backed up in front of us. No rangers or starter to keep them moving. The course allowed 5 somes and there were 3 groups on every hole.
