Heritage Glen Golf Club

About
Heritage Glen Golf Club in Paw Paw is definitely a contender for most scenic golf course in Michigan. The rolling hills and valleys of the state's "wine country" provide the setting for the course. The layout has an interesting mix of holes with some that have a Scottish-links style while others are so lined with trees that it feels like you're in the North woods. Overall, it's a player-friendly golf course but there are some challenging par 5s and you'll definitely get a chance to work on your iron game. Heritage Glen's sixth hole might turn out to be one of the hardest par 5s you'll ever play. It stretches to 625 yards from the back tees with a marsh to the left and a bunker surrounding the green. Bogie is considered a good score on this tough hole.

Great course Needs a Manager
What a missed opportunity. Customers looking for food will find nothing but burnt hot dogs and a slow bartender. People were there before, in-between and after their rounds with nothing to eat and nowhere to go. Too bad because the course was in great shape and fun to play. Only one beer cart for 18 holes and she didn’t work the course much... another missed opportunity.
A definite place to play again
Demands your capabilities to hit fairways and greens distance was never an issue. Greens are in great shape and very predictable.
Love This Place!
I love playing this course. If you score well, you played out of your mind! The first hole is definitely the easiest. Sucks you in, then the next 17 can eat you right up.
My biggest complaint involves their bunkers/sand traps. I know, you’re not supposed to be in them, but some times you can’t help it, and, for the most part, there is no sand. Just loose dirt and a LOT of stones!
Challenging layout
Nice course that gives you a good challenge experience
Excellent Greens, Rocky Sand Traps
I've played this course several times and it is always in good condition. Some of the best kept greens you'll find but the sand traps although maintained were full of rocks and in some cases they were quite large.
Great course
Pace of play was slow only due to people starting off the back when we were on the turn and not letting us play through. Course was wet but we have had rain for a week so it was expected!
Great Value
This was our final round on a Michigan golf trip. I trusted the reviews and they were validated. The course was in great shape and was challenging, yet fun. Only negative was all of the water containers on the course were empty. Other than that it was a great experience.
It was a great fun course. For an average golfer a little narrow. For the more experienced more challenging. A 600 yard plus Par 5 was very entertaining.
Great course
This course is always in excellent condition. The fairways and tee boxes are crisp and well maintained. Greens are fantastic; well groomed and fairly quick. This is one of my favorite courses within a 40 mile radius of my home!
Great track
Not overly long - but a great risk reward course. Always lots of fun!
will play again
The course was in great condition even after 4 inches of rain the night befor the greens were a little slower then usual but that was to be expected. The staff was courteous and helpful. I enjoyed the round very much
