2nd, par-3, 203 yards. The longest and most difficult par-3 on the course. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 07/25/2022
-
You’ll need a solidly struck iron to find the fourth green in regulation. Par-3, 152. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 07/25/2022

The par-4 fifth, which plays uphill at 303 yards, is as tough as nails for a short hole. Fives and sixes are likely far more common here than scores of three. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 07/25/2022

The sixth may not be a long hole, but it is the #5 index. The views are compensation, though, for any woes you may experience. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 07/25/2022

Green six is well guarded by a frontal pond. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 07/25/2022

Loudon’s fourteenth is a drive and pitch hole of 386, where most golfers will choose to lay up before the large pond. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 07/25/2022

A steal for the dew sweepers!
My friend and I got up and made the 40 minute trek. The whole ride I said to my friend that a 23 dollar hot deal must mean they're under construction or there would be some catch. The course was in perfect condition and because we started so early we were able to finish in 3hrs! Can't wait to go back and will be keeping my eyes open for another great offer like this!
Great time had by all!
God couldn't have made our day at Loudon CC any better. The course was in excellent shape and as hard as ever! We really enjoyed the course!
A trip home
I am originally from NH, but now live in San Diego CA, and played this course on a trip home over Labor Day. My friends had told me that NH was in a drought, but from my views the course was in great shape, with plenty of grass on the fairways. If you want to see a drought look at some of the courses here in SD, can you say brown from the burn.
I think the course was in great shape. Challenging, but not overwhelming. It winds through the forest, and has a few great doglegs. Very picturesque and enjoyable. Staff was super awesome. One of our players was a little late, and they allowed us to go out without delay when he showed.
the only thing that was odd to me was the gas golf carts. Maybe i am spoiled in San Diego with all electric carts.
When i return home again one day i will make sure that this course is on my list at the top to play.
Great place
Loudon has a great layout. Course conditions are OK given the drought conditions. THe greens are very good considering. The tee boxes could really be better.
The staff is low key very friendly .
Good course Not for beginners
Had a lot of fun on this course. Not for beginners with elevation changes and water
Great day
Greens were in great shape, overall very good considering the drought conditions. Excellent pace of play.
Another nice day at Loudon.
I would play his course everyday at the price I paid for the round. The course is in great shape this year.
One of My Favorites in the Lakes Region!
This is my go to course to work on every club in my bag. Don't let this course seduce you in thinking it's going to be a cake walk. A few blind fairway shots and u need to know how to hit from different lies in the fairways and around the greens. The course is in very good condition with the greens in excellent condition as of August 3, 2016.
A fun course
My cousin and I describe this as a "full size mini golf" course, and we mean it in a good way. It's a fun, varied layout with lots of elevation changes, lots of different looks. Greens are slow but roll smoothly, fairways are in good condition. You won't mistake it for a high end club, but for the money, it's a nice round of golf.
Minor complaints:
Like many New England courses, the tee boxes can be small and not level. I don't mind uneven lies on the fairway, but on the tee? However, they are not the only course in this area with that problem.
Also, the flags do not indicate pin placement on the greens. It would be great if they added indicators to the flagsticks.
Still, I will certainly play here again.
Pleasant Round
Took Advantage of a Hot Deal for a 2pm tee time. Turned out that there was a shot gun tournament that day so when we got out, we had the course to ourselves and played a 3 hour round (twosome). The staff was friendly. The range is off mats and it was OK. Putting green was good size and representative of the actual greens. I will play there again.
Great greens, great tee boxes and a burial plot
First time playing here, but not the last. Beautiful greens, fringe and collection areas. Excellent tee boxes, groomed and marked with nice colored golf ball markers. Wide fairways so even I can use the woods that sometimes don't come out of my bag.Lots of elevation changes, up and down all through the course. Elevated tees and many elevated greens, Interesting and lovely rock formations and water hazards throughout the round, landscaped nicely. Very nice and enjoyable round of golf indeed. If your ball does end up in the rocked in burial plot below and left of the 10th green, I think a free lift is in order. I don't think those interred there will say anything !!!! Wonderful and fun day at Loudon CC. Will play it again for sure.
Whats expected
Wide fairways are playable but wilting quickly. Small tight greens are long and slow but in good condition. Gravel cart paths but not a terrible ride. Looked like a tough walking course. Some interesting holes, mostly straight forward with plenty of elevation changes. Don't remember ever hitting a tee shot over a public road intentionally before. Will play again soon.
Good value NH golf
Loudon is a sneaky nice track not far from downtown Concord. Not much length here at all, so mid-handicappers can play from the tips and not worry about reaching greens in regulation. Greens were in spectacular shape, and fairways were good despite lack of rain. Tee boxes had a few odd slopes, but were pretty decent for the most part. There's enough elevation to make for some interesting shots, and a number of good scoring holes, so if you can keep your ball in the fairway, you can attack the course pretty well. Overall a fun course and they have some outstanding online deals if you look for them.
Great layout but needs some imporvements
Played here for the first time last weekend. The layout was great, lots of water hazards and each hole was a new challenge. Course was well maintained and pace of play couldn't have been better for a Saturday. Only complaints are that the greens were brutally slow, and lack of signage around the course (including yardage markers). Sometimes it was guesswork as to where the next hole was or how many yards it was to the green. Enjoyed the course overall and I will be back next time I'm in the area.
Germans are being airated
Very nice course for the money. Would have liked to have known the greens were being airated and the back nine was closed
2nd Time will be better!
Have you and your golf buddy ever played that course for the 1st time? Happy to say both of us said we will try this again. Course had some wet spots hey early April in NH. The staff was great. 1st time course there were a few confusing moments of where do we go. This is a great optical illusion course water hazards, other hit it over hazards, fun even for beginner wide fairways! Challenging enough to make you think. I will go again and next time I will know the course. Lots more fun.
Loudon has plenty to offer.
I enjoyed the course very much. The scenery and the course were great. I will definitely go back before the snow flies.
2nd Time around
as always, Loudon is a guaranteed good course with a friendly staff and good food.
