2nd, par-3, 203 yards. The longest and most difficult par-3 on the course. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 07/25/2022

You’ll need a solidly struck iron to find the fourth green in regulation. Par-3, 152. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 07/25/2022

The par-4 fifth, which plays uphill at 303 yards, is as tough as nails for a short hole. Fives and sixes are likely far more common here than scores of three. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 07/25/2022

The sixth may not be a long hole, but it is the #5 index. The views are compensation, though, for any woes you may experience. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 07/25/2022

Loudon’s fourteenth is a drive and pitch hole of 386, where most golfers will choose to lay up before the large pond. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 07/25/2022

Great Southern NH Track!
Don't let the parking lot fool you on this one. This course has many well designed holes with terrific views of the surrounding landscape. Be prepare to be impressed!!!
Solid Course, Good Value
Loudon CC isn't anything special but definitely worth a go if you're in the area. Greens were in good shape but course is a bit dry overall. Both times I've played I joined up with another twosome of good people. I'll be back again this summer.
Loudon
Nice, challenging course. It was dry and the greens didn't hold and were slow.
hidden treasure
one of the better courses no one knows about outside of the Loudon area.
Only 20 min. from Manchester
Well designed!
This course is well designed and maintained. The greens rolled true and were faster than they looked.
The staff was polite and approachable. Great time!
Great time!
We were so lucky there was a tournament ahead of us that was just finishing so the corse was wide open. Wish I could plan that!
Great course
Love this course. It's in great shape, aside for some crab grass growing on some of the tee boxes. Also some of the sand traps were lacking in "soft" sand (not that I was in many)!! It has beautiful scenery and is challenging, but not too difficult for average golfers! Great day!
Great Course, well taken care of
Very good price for this course. It was well maintained and I'd definitely go back.
Great Afternoon
We had a great round as a twosome and the pace of play was perfect. I enjoyed the elevation changes. Each hole offers something different.
Great condition
The people at Loudon CC are always very nice. This is the first time I tried Golf Now and it was so easy and when I got to the course they were so good about everything. No problems at all I have sence booked more tee times. So glad my friend told me about this site. I will pass it on to all my golfing friends. Thanks Cindy C
Not long, but tight and forced to think!
This course was overall in very nice condition, fairways nice and tight, greens pretty consistent but slow-ish, tee boxes could use a little leveling. Must keep ball in fairways if you want any hope of hitting the greens in regulation! A few blind tee shots require either a quick look ahead or a strategically placed layup.
There was virtually no one else there, so we could have easily cruised around the track in about 3.5 hours if not for the two novices in our group. Only had to let one single play through though we took 4:75 hours to play it. I'd definitely play here again, especially for the price!
What a Wonderful Thing...
What a wonderful thing it is when a golf course owner takes a sub-par property and turns it - over years of hard work - into a gem. So it is with Loudon Country Club where Bill Sr. and Bill Jr. have transformed a former cow pasture into a fine 18 holes of golf.
What a shock it was to me, having played this place many years ago, to find 18 fun holes - all a bit different and unique - that top out at around 6,200 from the tips.
The greens are perfect (17 of them anyway) despite a brutal winter in south-central New Hampshire. And a special thanks to the owner for understanding that these are greens that are best set at 6-7 on the Stimpmeter. The greens roll slow and true and they are an 18-hole pleasure to putt. The green complexes are interesting and demand intelligence. On 14 of the holes there is a relatively easy avenue to the short grass. On several holes the greens are perched high above the fairway and this adds a touch of fun and drama.
The fairways and rough are in pretty good shape and improving daily. There's some spotiness, but the turf in is moist and it is easy to hit a clean iron shot. The tee boxes are in OK condition with some modest "crowning" on a few holes. Just watch out where you tee it up.
Loudon has some memorable, high-impact, holes. On the front nine, the second hole, a long, uphill, par three, would be a welcome addition to any championship course. And the steeply uphill par-5 seventh is a beauty. On the back, the 11th, 16th and 18th would meet my definition as truly great & beautiful holes.
And a special note about the four par threes at Loudon. They are, as a group, the best I have played in New Hampshire.
Pace of play is brisk...the locals who play here pride themselves on keeping up; slower players urged us to play through. We finished in three hours!
But...maybe best of all...is the staff at Loudon. These are simply the nicest, most professional, people I have ever met at a golf course. They are welcoming, knowledgeable, interesting folks who seem to be passionate about serving guests. It's rare these days.
It is wonderful for an itinerant golfer to be treated so very well.
If you love northern New England golf, you need to travel to Loudon and play a round.
Very nice course
The course was very nice & callenging. Had a great day will definitely play there again.. Played with a couple of gentlemen from R I
quick get a way to sneak in a round of golf
This course was in good shape as I would rate it average to above average as the lay out very appealing gave me challenges with water, dog leg rights, dog leg lefts, shots uphill, down hill and relatively flat fairways to hit from not playing out there for many years I was pleasantly surprised and enjoyed the round of golf, I only wish my score reflected some of that joy.
Slow greens challenging fun layout great staff
Played here a few years ago and decided to come back, greens had gone through winter damage and their speed was SLOW!!!Great mix of holes, wish we had known that there were two temporary greens, that took away from the enjoyment.Would go back when the green come back and speed up.
good place
this course has many water, but not so difficult. i think the display of distance is wrong at some holes.
Interesting course
This is a challenging course demanding straight drives. Greens were on the slow side. The only disappointments were the temporary greens on #11 and 16. The regular greens didn't look bad. It's mid-summer. Come on guys, open these greens.
Fun Round
Nice hilly course with small greens but in very good shape. Greens could be faster, but rolled nicely. Very enjoyable and plan to play there again.
Short course, but challenging
The course is not very long, but you have to know the carry distances to the fairways. Greens were not cut in what looked like days, had to hammer putts to get them to the hole.
Great people
The following scenario speaks for itself. We encountered the course owner (in his 60's or 70's), sweating away on a hot, humid day, trying to repair winter damage to the greens. The greens were already the best we've played this year. The winter damage was one small patch.
