2nd, par-3, 203 yards. The longest and most difficult par-3 on the course. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 07/25/2022

You’ll need a solidly struck iron to find the fourth green in regulation. Par-3, 152. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 07/25/2022

The par-4 fifth, which plays uphill at 303 yards, is as tough as nails for a short hole. Fives and sixes are likely far more common here than scores of three. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 07/25/2022

The sixth may not be a long hole, but it is the #5 index. The views are compensation, though, for any woes you may experience. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 07/25/2022

Loudon’s fourteenth is a drive and pitch hole of 386, where most golfers will choose to lay up before the large pond. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 07/25/2022

Golfer Reviews
First Impressions
First time playing Loudon CC. A challenging layout with challenging greens whose slopes made it a challenge to hold your approach shots. Dog legs, hills, water, bunkers, and trees force you to play smart in order to score well. I walked the course on a very hot day - a challenging walk for a fat, old man. I look forward to playing this course again and will likely be back often.
Course is in great shape, lots of fun to play ⛳️🏌🏻♂️
Been golfing Loudon for years & it’s always been one of my favorite courses. I travel on the PGA circuit extensively for my work so I get to see & play a lot of courses so I have a fair amount of experience on high end courses.
Loudon CC is a fun track that is sure to please most every golfer. Definitely would recommend a trip here.
Only complaint is the price
This is a good course. Not a great one, but a good one. Nice layout. Well kept fairways and greens. Pleasant staff. I just wish they didn’t over price themselves. At $80+ for a round of golf on the weekend. It’s a bit high. Not only that, but the pro shop is super expensive too… $37 for a hat? And off you want a bee at the b r, be prepared to spend $7 per beer. You’d think you’re at a PGA course. For that kind of money, I’d expect fairly new, cushy carts with premium leather seats and GPS screens. I’d also expect a great driving range with a free bucket of balls to warm up before your round.
Again, my issue is not with the course. It’s a good course. They just seem to think too highly of what they really are… a nice course to play when you’re in the area… not a course you’d drive an hour to play in. It shouldn’t cost any more that $60 to play here… $45 if your teeing off in the early morning or late afternoon.
Overall good day
Been playing here for years and enjoy the course would like some attention to the Tee Boxes some need to be leveled out, and move the white Tees up on the 2nd hole to many people in the woods looking for their ball and slowing pace of play, because they refuse to move up to the closer Tee’s
