Course needs watering.

This course was so dried out. The greens and fairways had burn spots all over the place. Tees were so hard you could not find a soft spot to tee from which resulted in lots of broken tees. Only thing good was your ball got a good roll after each shot.

good layout but BAD condition

looks like no water all year...many burned out/dead areas on tees and greens...

Sporty course, poorly maintained

Main attraction here is the large undulating greens, which made the course interesting. Other than that, forget it - tee boxes were burned out and full of weeds, bunkers haven't been maintained in years, and fairways must be cut once per week. It's unfortunate the course is in such bad shape - the sporty design is interesting and this course could be rated as high as 3-4 stars with better conditioning. With so many other choices in northern Michigan, I just can't play here again.
