Spring Meadow Golf Club

The course has been steadily improving, the staff are great and the layout is fun. Relatively short but still some challenges for just about any level of player. For the price, definitely one of the best courses around. If you havent been here in a while I would come back and check it out.

New owners dumping cash into it. Gonna be better in another year. Cart paths are a mess but the conditions were great especially the drainage issues that alot of other courses have. It rained for 2 days and we went right after. Couldn't ask for a much nicer day.

The course is recovering from past storm damage and neglect. The new owners are doing what they can to get the course back in shape, but it takes time.

The new crew at SMGC is doing a great job getting the course back on track. They have done tremendous work and I’m very confident in the future of the course.

The only blemish is out of their control as the Halfway House got damaged and is still under repair, but they have food options available

Everything was good except the tee boxes need work. The fairways and rough were good and made for a more challenging round.

I've heard some negative things about S.M in the past, and got basically a free round from the app. I've gotta admitt I was pleasantly surprised. From the friendliness at the bag drop off, to the desk help to the starter, everyone was awesome.Even has a nice driving range. Now the course layout was a bit of a head scratcher. Considering it wasn't marked very well, it was often confusing on which way the next hole was. It just added to the courses charm. And like every course in Jersey after a blazing hot summer it had its bumps and warts. Tee boxes every where are in rough shape, this place is no different. Some water on the course considering there was no cart service would have been nice. Other than that it was a fun round.

Great layout needs some work which is already underway. Excellent value for money will keep playing. Looking forward to seeing how it improves over time…

Good job to the new owners. We were there in April and the course was in terrible shape. New owners took over and they have done an amazing job. Greens are beautiful as is the fairways. Very happy they are back. Now just waiting on the restaurant and bar! We will be back. Good luck

Hate to tell too many people but this place is so nice and they deserve a shout out. The Employees are the best and you have a feeling of being at a private course the way your bag is taken and placed on your cart.

Do not waist your money on this course. First, they changed the layout of the course. You now start on what used to be hole #5. So if you are using a GPS you have to move it to hole#5. That doesn't sound like much but what happens is the turn at hole #9 & #10 is at the farest part of the course away from the clubhouse. There is no food available anywhere on the course. Tee boxes are horrendous. Number 11 tee box is completely dirt, no exaggerating completely dirt no grass to be seen. The only good point is that the greens are in great condition. The only saving grace for this course. The staff did tell that a new owner is taking over the restaurant and halfway house sometimes this fall. I would recommend calling the course first before booking a tee time.

Staff was friendly and helpful though course is under construction. You have to reset you golf app to hole number 5 which is confusing and several holes were poorly signed so confusing on where to go and losing time . This is most frustrating as management could simply add few signs with arrows to help players. On upside new tee boxes should be ready soon and overall course has potential once these issues get corrected. Hopefully soon!

Pace of play was the biggest problem as we waited on almost every hole. But golf sometimes ends up taking longer than expected.

Course has made enormous improvements. Tee boxes redone, and grounds crew constantly working. Only suggestion would be to provide water for the golfers throughout the course

The course is under new management and the changes were great! The staff was very friendly and courteous! The greens were in really good shape. A couple of tee boxes were temporary but that was do to the old tee boxes having freshly laid sod down which will make it even better. The only thing that will make the experience better is when they finally open the bar/restaurant again. I would definitely play here again!
