Spring Meadow Golf Club

Three tee boxes were all dirt and very little improvements are made that need to be to keep the course up to par. There is significant erosion on hole 10 and the course maintenance is mowing and raking bunkers.

Flew through the course, glad to swing a club and know what need to work on.

Got in our first outdoor round yesterday at 65 deg in Feb. Staff was very polite and courteous. Outdoor grounds crew/ Rangers were very welcoming. Rained night before, but Mother Nature was on our side!! Absolutely perfect day!! Fairways were manicured and not too many puddled grounds. We walked the entire course. Fairways forgiving and greens were running in morning. It was just an amazing day!!

Not a bad course to play in the cold . They allow carts on fairways which is a big bonus for those having difficulty walking. Pace a bit slow due to many players without carts on course . Worth a hot deal if you can get it .

For a course in late January in the Northeast, it was in great shape.

I was having a fairly good day but the ranger really annoyed me on the 18th hole. We were one of the first groups out but not the 1st. We were waiting on the first 3 holes but they disappeared after that. I thought we were on a great pace but obviously not fast enough for the power trip ranger. We never held ip the group behind us except for the first hole. After that, they were about a hole behind on every hole thereafter. The ranger pulled up behind us on the 18th fairway, and after I hit my 2nd shot on the green within 12 feet he said we were holding up the whole course and our pace of play was unacceptable. We were at 4:06 minutes at that point and finished at 4:15. He said the pace of play should be 4 hours or 3.5 for the first group out. I thought he was kidding. I've never played there under 5 hours. A foursome that all played in the 90s, I feel that pace was very acceptable in fact even a little fast. Keep in mind, we were never told we were playing slow the entire round. Why be a jerk and tell us to speed up with nothing left to play? Totally left a bad taste in my mouth and won't go back. If anyone held people up, it was the group behind us or even the group in front of us who put every pin back in crooked. Every single hole they didn't put pin in correctly.

Greens and fairways were clean as well as a lot of the rough. Greens were as to be expected for the time of year but rolled fairly well. Tee box on 9 hasn’t been maintained and they need to remove the tree limb hanging overhead. The tee box on 15 is just a dirt patch but it’s a fun hole to play. It’s by no mean a perfect course, but the staff is friendly and the usual golfers that frequently play there have always been a pleasure to play with.
