Nice greens
Nice greens but terrible tee boxes. Good pace of play
I have never seen tee boxes in such poor condition in all my life. The majority of them are barren dirt, hard as a rock. Pace was slow, even for a random Monday afternoon. Probably won’t be back.

Left after 12 holes, first time in my life
- Horrific pace of play for 7am
- never seen a bug and wasp infestation like that
- the badgering to rush when the hold up is groups ahead of you
What a waste
The overall condition of the course is good, with the exception of several tee boxes, which were nearly bare dirt. The fairways are well maintained and the greens were in great shape, but quite hard. While I rate the pace of play as average, that’s not necessarily a good thing. Everyone starts as a learner and that means new players will have to spend time looking for their ball. But watching someone take two and three shots from the tee when groups are stacking up is just rude and unnecessary. This course would be well served to have a ranger to keep the game moving.
Booked a Hot Deal...so no refunds. I get it...BUT there was thunder and lightning 60 percent of the time we were playing. Bad storm before and while we started and course never closed. :( Super friendly staff behind counter (I'm sure she does not make the call to close the course).
Good value for the $$
Pros: Friendly staff, easy to get a tee time, nice layout with some elevation and the Manasquan River running through the course, not expensive $60. on a weekend
Cons: Tee Boxes scream for help, Sand Traps very little sand (Sand is cheap), Sand trap on 8th hole right side of fairway has more pebbles and rocks than sand, just cover and put grass in it, Cart paths could improve conditions if they were complete, Other golfers not great with Golf etiquette and pace can be slow

The course is in decent condition. Some of the greens really need some work. The staff is extremely friendly.

Course was in great condition enjoy the layout greens were perfect couple tee boxes were just OK but had a great time and food in restaurant was great along with the band.

Great day of golf
Fairways & Greens were in great shape. A few select T boxes were pretty bad but overall a Nice place to visit I& play. Great little restaurant and bar on site also

I was very impressed with this course. Very interesting and different holes. The course condition was excellent. Will definitely go back there...
A Beginners dream
Fairways and Greens were Fantastic here, I was surprised. Few “T” boxes were borderline dirt however more were in Good shape than bad. Great Bar and Food Service. Course was ideal for new and intermediate golfers for sure.
