Fun Course
Play this course each summer when I come down to the Jersey Shore. It’s a well maintained (except for tee boxes) course, with nice mix of holes including elevation changes Definitely will play it again and recommend it.
Good time
Good time had by all, enjoyed course and 19 hole refreshments Apple and cold drinks. live 2 man band was added bonus. Thanks!
Lower the prices
If this place put a dime into fixing the traps this place could be a very solid course. There’s puddles in every trap that have probably been like that for 10 years. $65 is way too expensive.
Fun Time
Had a blast here today despite the heat. Some tee boxes need some love, especially on the back 9 and only one green needed some repair.. fix those few issues and and overall course rating will be excellent. Always a tough and challenging round . Can’t wait to play again.
Fine value
Here's a course that boldly asks: what if every tee box was a sand trap? The 15th tee box was flat out unplayable. Outside of that the fairways and greens were in fine condition and for 33 dollars it's acceptable value.
Good fairways and greens
Except for a couple tee boxes the conditions were very good for this late in summer. Friendly staff for sure. They have live music 6 days a week and an excellent restaurant
Nice Walking course
Course in good shape, greens very nice. Tee areas need help.
Well maintained
We played in 2:45 minutes, greens were cut so ball rolled well. Fairways were cut and gave a good roll. Play again for sure!!
Nice greens
Nice greens but terrible tee boxes. Good pace of play
I have never seen tee boxes in such poor condition in all my life. The majority of them are barren dirt, hard as a rock. Pace was slow, even for a random Monday afternoon. Probably won’t be back.
left mid round
Left after 12 holes, first time in my life
- Horrific pace of play for 7am
- never seen a bug and wasp infestation like that
- the badgering to rush when the hold up is groups ahead of you
What a waste
The overall condition of the course is good, with the exception of several tee boxes, which were nearly bare dirt. The fairways are well maintained and the greens were in great shape, but quite hard. While I rate the pace of play as average, that’s not necessarily a good thing. Everyone starts as a learner and that means new players will have to spend time looking for their ball. But watching someone take two and three shots from the tee when groups are stacking up is just rude and unnecessary. This course would be well served to have a ranger to keep the game moving.
