Farmstead Golf & Country Club - Lakeview/Clubview Course
About
Water comes into play on six holes on the Lakeview nine at the 27-hole Farmstead Golf & Country Club, which is located in northwest New Jersey approximately an hour from New York City. None is more challenging than the closing hole, a very short -- but very intimidating -- par 3 over water. The Byron Phoebus design opened in 1965.

Golfer Reviews
7:40 Tee Time
Perfect day for golf. Club/Lake course was in great condition. Pace of play was good even though it was July 4th and had many golfers out on the course. Slower group in front of us and finished in 4:30. Couldn't ask for a better round. Staff was friendly, pricing was good. Always enjoy this course.
Great layout
Really great layout and the greens rolled true. The staff was super friendly. First time I was 20 yards face to face with a Bear. But really 6 dollars for a beer , that’s why people sneak their beer in.
TERRIBLE customer service
I mistakenly made an error in booking my tee time on golfnow. Meant to make it for 6/6 but instead made it for 5/30. I realized this error when my credit card was charged the full amount on 6/1. Called the course to explain the situation and asked for a rain check but was shut down with no alternative solution. The course was WIDE open with available tee times the first few hours of daylight that day. I understand this was MY error but work with me just a little.
Picturesque quality course
Farmstead is a family owned quality course in northern NJ.
Course is extremely well maintained, just gorgeous! Well worth the money.
Everyone at Farmstead is friendly and helpful! Had a wonderful time on Memorial Day weekend. Can't wait to return for another round!
Rough
The length of the rough was that of a US Open. Even if you were a few feet off the fairway you couldn’t find your ball. Also the tee boxes were in bad shape.
