Greens were in great shape. Fairways and tee boxes same. Everyone was friendly . Defiantly recommend.
A good time golf course near the Jersey Shore
It's a fun course and I got to play with uncle from Brick while we were visiting the Shore. I thought a little pricy for what it was. Lakewood, NJ is a very unique town, I was a little shocked driving through to the golf course. I guess if you live around there you're probably used to it. Not much around that location and maybe in the hey days it was beautiful course with a lake near by. Staff was friendly. Unfortunately no military discount. Nice driving range.

Overall B+
Not a long or challenging course. But greens and fairways in great condition. Pace of play was good for level of play. Greens are fun with the different levels. Overall great bang for your buck on a weekend morning.

Needs maintenance
Like the course but for the price this place is not worth it. Be prepared to have a crappy lie all day

i played the course a lot 40 years ago. last time i played it was 22 years ago and didn't really know what to expect but i was pleasantly surprised the course was in great shape and well improved. look forward to playing it again.

Great Course! Great Value...NEEDS RANGERS
I'm not that guy that plays golf with a stopwatch. That being said, there needs to be SOMEONE to keep an eye on pace. Played twice in a week, and on BOTH occasions got caught behind a group that had a minimum of THREE HOLES OPEN in front of them. On one occasion, I politely asked the starter at the 10th hole to 'mention' it to group in front of us (Group in front of them finished front 9 45 MIN before them). Luckily, that day there happened to be two starters, so he was able to hop on a cart to help move that group along, but that's hardly ever the case. That being said THIS COURSE IS FUN...Greens are challenging (especially hole 3), and the course is in GREAT SHAPE!

A Used Course
Not exactly lush or Plush but it has been very hot lately ( blame global warming )
They do try to water though out the day
