LCC is a good challenging course with tough greens. It’s in good shape. Staff is friendly.

What happened to this place?
LCC conditions in 2020 and onto 2021 were noteworthy. This year, sad. Not unplayable but getting there. May 1 is too early in the year to have tee boxes and fairways look like this. Greens were ok and rolled decent but when the rest of the course looks somewhere between a lunar landscape and the lawn with the boarded up windows on the house, it takes its toll. They should Slash and Burn hole 13 so it can rise from the ashes next year.
Maggie's wings saved the day even if the staff is bare bones. They are trying though.

Ok Course, Horrible Value
The course is what I expected from a mid-level county course. $70 to play this course is highway robbery. Tee boxes and fairways were kept nicely but around the greens are patchy and often unplayable. Played the front 9 in 2 hours and the back 9 took 3 hours. The whacky par 5 on the back is ridiculously slow being that you have to hit 3 blind shots no knowing where the group ahead is.

Great layout
Loved the layout. 16th hole very unique. Only gripe would be that in many areas the fringes of the fairways need some attention.

Nice course slow play
I like the course but the group in front of us were taking at least two shots a piece when the range ask them to let us play through on the next hole they said yes but didn’t let us play through which made for a long day

Course is being brought back to prime condition
Played here with an afternoon tee-time and got out on time. There are many improvements underway that will enhance the beauty of this classic course. The greens were true, bunkers are being refreshed and generally well maintained throughout. Some very interesting hole layouts await you here. Some of the cart paths need leveling, probably from the wet weather we had in the Northeast this year. I missed the outdoor bar area, coming soon with the warmer weather coming.

Slow Pace
They should have a starter from time to time checking the pace of foursomes. Some golfers just don't care that other golfers are waiting.

Greed & lack of experience.
The person checking in the golfers must have thought he was working at the US Open. Had to wait until the foursome was full before we could go to the first tee. Plus they wanted to charge an additional $10 for a single cart. This was a hot deal with the cart included? Someone within Golfnow should contact the golf course.
