Snarky, Rude Staff
Beware of the "pro shop" and staff, both of which share the same dreary and unwelcoming disposition.
Really solid shape and layout- outside of ball marks
Great layout at Darlington and in really nice shape for this time of year, really great job by them. One thing I would say is Darlington as well as the other counties HAVE to start having the starters mentioning fixing ball marks and divots. The greens here were covered in craters as was Overpeck, Valley Brook. These courses see so much play with a lot of new golfers since COVID who don't repair anything or even understand how to.

County Course in great shape
had a great time with a Tuesday early tee off in light drizzle. very few people there. second time playing there this year. other comments about the "staff" being curt and cart rules about returning them 1/2 before sunset. baloney. Staff is good. cart rules clearly visible when paying. I like to walk for the exercise so no cart for me.

Beautiful county course but dumb governmental rules
The course is beautiful but it’s mismanaged by the county. The cashier messed up my tee time then the starter made me go back and reregister making me miss valuable time. As you should know anything run by the government is going to be an unnecessary hassle all the time simply for bureaucracy’s sake … they had problems with my online county registration as well. - and carts must come in 15 minutes before sunset another dumb county rule - otherwise really beautiful course which I consider my home course - get the county out of it!!!

Not very informative
Not very informative we had a 150 tee time I was told on the first tee that the carts had to be back in by 6 15 should let you know there’s things before you book. The course itself was in pretty good shape greens so fast if you were above the hole 3 putts were many

Darlington
Course was in great condition especially the greens this time of year. Pace of play was good not waiting too long from hole to hole. No amenities, price to play was very reasonable. Definitely worth playing.
