Great day
The course conditions were perfect and staff was great. Had lunch after and was also very nice
Good course slow pace
They course was pretty slow paced from hole 3 on. Not sure if it was because it was an afternoon round and people came on to play just the back nine. Ended up being lose to a 5 hour round of play.
Excellent Layout
Knob Hill has very well maintained compared to other public accessible courses. Creative layout that demands accuracy off the tee. Wild hitters like me get punished though fair unlike some target golf courses. Highly recommended for sure. I’ll be back.
Average at best
Quirky course. Tight fairways. Felt like target golf. Not in terrible shape but seems like it would always be wet. Good for a vacation course. Greens were slow and not challenging. Fairways green but soft. Short. Doesn’t feel like a real golf course. Would not play here again.
Solid course in Manalapan
I enjoyed Knob Hill. It’s fun and challenging from the blue/white hybrid tees and probably even more challenging from the back tees. Great water features and a solid layout. Some holes are really tight so if you or your playing partners have difficulty keeping the ball on the fairway, expect the level of difficulty and anxiety to increase. We played during inclement weather so the course only had a few groups out there but I could imagine it would get packed during prime time. A few of the greens had been sandy and had recently undergone some work so they were sandy. Would’ve been helpful to know in advance but oh well! I’d come back next time I’m in the area

Greens were just aerated. Everything else was fine
Cart path only, really?
It rained the day before but it was a good 18 hours of pure sunshine and they had cart path only. The course was super dry and shouldn’t have been cart path only. It made the round not enjoyable. Also the carts were reading we were on the road when we weren’t. Today was a bad day of golf
Knob hill review
We played on 7/26/21. Course was in excellent shape (not dry at all) and had a great layout. It's not very long but definitely has challenging holes.
