Great Value
I've played Knob Hill GC in Manalapan, NJ a few times over the last 15 years. It has matured since it was first built. It is not an easy course, but it is not overly difficult. It requires you to think about club selection as well as being able to make the shots. It is not narrow and restrictive, but it is not wide open either. Elevation changes on many holes as well as dog legs creates the challenge. Utilizing GolfNow, I was able to play this semi private course for $35 with a p.m. tee time. Extremely worth it. I highly recommend Knob Hill and GolfNow.
Great Condition Very Nice Condition Overall
Enjoyed this course. Very good condition. Well maintained from the parking lot to the clubhouse and throughout the entire course.
Only complaint is in some green side bunkers the sand was of poor quality with many stones in it.
Very Pleasant Course
Got a GolfNow HotDeal for $35. Well worth it. Very good condition all around. Fairways not as narrow as i feared. Greens challenging but not difficult. Will return but not at full price.
Great condition and challenging to play
I live in Staten Island and don't mind traveling the 34 miles to play this course. It's always in great condition and a very attractive and well manicured golf course. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rough was a bit difficult so you were penalized when in it. I would definitely recommend this course.
A tight driving course that offers a unique look from the surrounding courses.
Having been playing the same course many times a week, me and my buddies came out here for a different look. The course is surrounded by a neighborhood which offers a tight perspective off the tees. Some holes have interesting greens guarded by water which adds to the fun. The staff was friendly and the pacing was brisk. Overall a great value.

One of NJ's hidden gems
Once you figure out how to find the parking lot and clubhouse, you'll find your in for a surprise. Really friendly staff, great rates, very well maintained course, good food, etc... Pretty much everything is above average.
As far as the course goes, the greens putt true and are soft enough to hold well struck approach shots. Fairways and rough are in good shape, a few tee boxes could use some attention, but that's not enough to spoil your round.
Overall, considering the average price and pace of play at a NJ course, the knob is an exceptional value.
