Great course
Well kept course that is challenging but not too hard for new golfers.. staff is great and a round is reasonably priced

Saturday afternoon
I always have liked the course. You have to play it a few times to understand it. Play it from the back to enjoy it. 4:15 for a round of golf can seem long but that is golf on a Saturday afternoon.

Rained Out
Had to cancel because of rain. Played there plenty of times and the course was always in great shape and the help where excellent.

Wetter is not better when playing golf
One of my favorite courses as I love the layout, but the on course amenities don’t equal the price tag. Played today in what became by the back nine a steady shower and was soaked by the end as the golf cart had no rain hood nor plexiglass to keep rain from coming in the front. Price does not alway equal quality and unfortunately many courses in South Jersey do not understand that.

Meh
First time playing here. First of all, there is nothing ‘links’ about this course except for a short par 3 on the back that they guarded with a waste bunker. It’s a tight, short, shot making course. Lots of trees and trouble.
Some interesting and pretty holes. Greens, fairways and tee boxes were all in good shape. The bunkers are not bunkers (I think they are supposed to be)- they are rock filled hardpan- terrible. Same for the parking area- reminded us of a vacant South Philly lot complete with weeds and an abandoned foundation from the original clubhouse with the surrounding, dilapidated security fence.
Overall, nothing too spectacular. Pace was slow. No ranger or starter, except the guy cutting the first tee box (which is a hike from the clubhouse) with his dog that yelled at us for walking- apparently it’s carts-only til 1, but the pro shop had no problem letting us walk. He called the ‘boss’ on us and was going to make us schlep all the way back to the parking lot and get a cart. Shades of getting sent to the principal in grammar school- very unprofessional way to treat your guests. He ‘let us’ walk but that set the tone for the day.
Our suggestion- rename this course “This is a Golf Course- Meh.”

Nice course in the woods.
Most of the course was okay, sand traps are sub par and need real sand. Staff and cart girl were great always around.

Read so many awful reviews, I almost didn’t play. But the course was in amazing shape, perfect greens, and always a great layout
