Poor Maintenance/ Poor Management
I do not usually post reviews about the golf courses I play on, but I recently had a horrible experience here at Links... 1. The golf cart trails are consistently flooded, as they are poorly maintained. 2. The golf course is within a housing community and designed so you are consistently aiming at people's houses to get it in the green. Literally had a home owner angrily approach me, claiming I nailed his house. 3. There is the worst mosquito problem here, I wore repellent and still came home with 15+ mosquito bites. 4. The management seemed to be lazy and irresponsible. I saw the "general manager" of the golf course sleeping in his little office while I was in the club house.. which is under construction and looks horrible. 5. Since this golf course is public, it attracts many novice golfers that simply do not respect standard golfer etiquette. They will not wait for you to finish at a hole and will aimlessly hit golf balls in your direction. This golf course was recommended by a friend with low standards, I guess, and I would never come back here again.
Staff was very friendly unfortunately Greens were destroyed and burnt out. Tee box’s were a mess.

Wow
Worse course conditions I've ever seen there, in decades of playing there. I recognize various courses are struggling with extreme heat, but the conditions there were pathetic. Very sad. The course doesnt look like they've watered it in months. Greens are so dry and burnt they are cracking. WOW!

Overpriced
This was a total waste of money. The course lost about 75% of their greens and fairways. Weeds are all over Fairways. Sand traps are hard as a rock - never been raked. No clubhouse, no bathroom unless you like a portable toilet. Just played Harbor Pines, McCulloughs and Ballamor this past week for less than $74. Don't waste your time or money here.

Good Time
Nice layout and people...But lots of ballmarks and bare spots on greens...I can tell they are trying though... It's tough when it gets so hot...I'd play again...Had a good time.

A hidden gem
The course since being purchased has seen many improvements. Once finish I see this course as one of south jerseys hidden gems for golfing. Keep in mind that this course is challenging to play with sharp dog legs and hidden greens. Bring your A game

Overpriced
$60 price for a afternoon weekday had me thinking this course was tying to turn things around. Would’ve been a 5.5 hour round if we did not leave 3 holes early due to frustration. There was no starter or ranger to manage course flow. After finishing the first hole, our group proceeded to wait on average 10-15 minutes each successive hole due to volume. For just about every single hole, we would drive up to the tee box, wait 5 minutes for the group in front of us to have a chance to hit. We would then wait another 5-10 minutes for a chance to hit while an audience piled up behind us on the tee box. To put it in other words, there were four (sometimes five) groups playing or waiting to play on every single shot of every single hole. It’s a shame as this was a challenging course to play in the past. I don’t write reviews.....ever, but felt obligated as there are several other courses in the area that are around the same price and have not shown these types of issues. Don’t waste your time here.

A nice course.
Nice course in very good condition. Getting better as the season goes on. Nice layout. Good value for the price. Hopefully the clubhouse will get built some day.

First Time and we'll be back!
It was the first time at the Links for me and my two buddies and we liked it. Overall it's a short course but it makes up for that with the point A to point B golf that it required on many holes. Grip it and rip it isn't how the Links is played. Lots of hybrids off the tee needed for a good look into the greens. A couple of holes are open enough for Driver and if hit well you will be rewarded. Course needs a little fine tuning and if that ever happens this place could be a gem. Overall it's a good course and on the mid afternoon rate of $40 a good value. We'll be back!

Great value course. Good conditions, fun layout as it forces you to hit irons/woods off tees. Lots of men’s leagues so be certain to get early or late tee time.
