No Starter led to.......
A group of SIX playing in front of us (three)...making for slow pace every hole.
Glad we booked only 9 holes otherwise 5 hour plus round.
Recommended but Borderline
You can't rent golf clubs there.
I came to New Jersey from Poland. The East Orange course seemed nice and accessible to everyone. I assumed that I could rent golf clubs on the course. Unfortunately, you cannot rent clubs at this course. There is no information on the course's website about renting clubs. I didn't have any golf clubs, so I didn't play. I regret...
Pace of play sucks
Front 9 was great, back 9 always has people hopping on. It took 3 hours to complete and at hole 14 there were literally 8 people playing the same hole. No rangers, not worth paying for this course when you can hop onto the back 9 for free.
Great hole placement
I wish I was told about carts before I scheduled my tee time.
Great holiday round
Thank you for satisfying the needs of us to work off the holiday sweets! fairways leaf free, some soggy spots due to the rains earlier in the week, but overall still a great course to walk. greens in great shape...except 16 can use a periodic sweep of the goose poop.
In non-Winter months, please put some kind of cleanser in the ball washers. Almost all of them are dry year-round,, and the others have only dirty water.

First Ace!
Played with a really nice young man who was possibly more excited than i was when I got my HIO.
Overall the course was in very good shape. Especially considering the time of year. I will definitely return!

No starter again
Always enjoy playing here. But today, no starter this Saturday - which allowed a group of 4 to jump ahead of us with a bogus "tee time". Didn't want to start the round with a fight - so let them go. Of course they were slow players hitting multiple balls off tee box. Desk folks always effecient. Course nicely cleared of leaves. greens and tees in good condition.

As a frequent golfer here, I always appreciate the professional care I receive at registration. Love it or hate it - there's rarely a starter on weekdays, but when the Weekend starter is there - this is more order.

Decent course
The staff is nice. The food is good. The course is fair. A little wet in some areas, and there is definitely not enough sand in the traps. Two that I hit out of had stones in them.
