Still needs a lot of work!
The course is in better condition than previous months BUT DEFINITELY STILL NEEDS A LOT OF WORK. As always there was no starter or marshal on the works so everyone was just doing what they wanted to do. For a very short and not challenging course the pace of play is ridiculous.

Course is in great shape
Played here each of the last two weeks and have virtually no complaints. The tee boxes are in their best shape since the course Re-opened years ago. Greens are rolling true too despite the heat. It's a total 180 from LY when the greens needed some serious TLC. They've gotten it right this year and it makes for a much more enjoyable round.
Yes, the course gets backed up on the weekends, but what do you expect in North Jersey on a weekend? The starter has gotten me out on time or close to it and even sent groups off on the back 9 to try and break up some of the congestion. Overall this course in great shape and I’ll be back soon.

LIV
Course was surprisingly in good shape. Greens and fairways were reasonable, especially given the volume of play. Short course and very basic, but it works for the average golfer.
Just wish there was water out on the course and a ranger to move along slow payers.
Driving range available and two practice greens. Restaurant and bar were nice but very pricey.

Pleasantly surprised with the conditions, especially the greens which were well maintained. Only issue were the ball marks that previous golfers didn’t repair. Fairways and rough in good shape. Tee boxes a little beat up but no big deal, can always find a spot to tee up. Back nine is longer, tougher and prettier than front. Fred the starter a nice guy who keeps things moving. Will definitely play again

Local Treasure
Take a chance here…experience the charm that plays out far beyond the greens. Before you leave have lunch and a cocktail, then review the experience. This is such a peaceful and beautiful place to golf. Perhaps, if you’re not a fan, this is not a space for you (keep your high and mighty reviews to yourself.) Great course for the $
Just played, and course is in great shape. The fairways weren’t perfect but the greens were very good. Also great value for playing and a very fair and open Courses layout

East Orange is a nice course
East Orange is a nice well maintained course. The fairways are wide but the trees are unforgiving

Walkable and in best condition ever
I play this course at least once a week on weekdays, when pace of play is brisk, and usually walk unless it’s too hot. The course was rebuilt not too long ago and is now in the best shape it’s ever been. Tee boxes, fairways, and greens are in commendable condition for a public course. While not a difficult course, it’s still challenging for most golfers. With woods and high grass along fairways and greens and traps in front of many greens, the course rewards good shots and punishes bad ones. It’s a great value for the money. There’s also a good driving range and both a practice green and a chipping area along with a nice restaurant and good food stand at the 10th tee.

Hornets, wasps, bees, whatever you want to call them.
Last year this course had a major problem with bees/wasps. It was really only on the 6th green and certain areas. When I played here 3 weeks ago for the first time this year, it had looked like it was taken care of finally. WELL, THEY ARE BACK IN FULL FORCE NOW. For anyone allergic like me, this course is unplayable. Anyone that wants to be able to focus while the swarm flies around your body and your groups well being is challenged, this is mostly unplayable. Fix the problem for good, dont just throw a band aid on it. Please.

Horrible Course
Greens in bad shape and the Course in ok condition. Over No rangers in site and over booked tee times so the pace of play was very slow. Waited to tee off for a few minutes on every hole. Hot day and the any water coolers on the course were empty.
