Nice Day on wet course
Walking only allowed due to heavy rains.
Can't control the weather so played a fun round in 3 hours 35 minutes. Days like this is why we wear water proof golf shoes. Greens were in fair shape but traps need work. Overall it was fun and fairly priced with a nice staff

Duck Duck Goose
The course is not ready go the season. There is duck poop everywhere. And the fairway does not drain water well.

Closed course and NO ONE SENT ANY CANCELLATION NOTICE
They closed the course apparently because someone booked the clubhouse for an event. Fine, but then send us a simple email or text saying the course is closed. Weequahic does that. We had players come from Englewood and Mahwah, over 40 minutes drive. I don't blame the workers who kicked us off (unless it was their duty to notify everyone of the cancellation). Extremely poor management.

Beer cans/where are the rangers?
Picked up about 12 beer cans from the group in front of me. They were dropping about a can per hole, even though there are trash cans on just about every tee box. When I caught up to them on 15, they called me a scumbag (for pointing this out) and said they were going to play the rest of the round with their putter. I walked to the front office and told the man behind the desk about all this, didn’t get offered a refund. Probably won’t play here again, it’s a shame. They need rangers out there to keep a minimum level of accountability (the group I was talking about also almost had a physical altercation with the group in front of them after they all hit their second shot at them while they were on the green, where are the rangers?)

Fun Course
Second time I played here. Really nice muni in the inner city. Considering it was Jan 2nd and we had a week of cool rainy days before the course was in good shape with only a few puddles in fairways and bunkers. Greens were in very good shape. Fairways wide. Worth playing.

Unfriendly staff, no greetings whatsoever. I felt unwelcome. Course maintained extremely poorly. .
The staffs were very cold and unfriendly.
I felt unwelcome and uncomfortable.
Course was not maintained at all.
It was full of bird’s dropping everywhere, fairways and greens were in below average condition
I paid for the carts but they said no carts without explanation or apology.
I would never come back here even if it’s free.
No wonder they always have tee time available.
The GN has 3.6 but that’s totally overrated and it’s no more than 2.5 in my opinion. Don’t waste your money.

The course was Terrible!! There was goose crap everywhere and the course was wet. It was so bad I only played 9 holes.
