Course conditions going downhill
Course conditions are deteriorating. The greens are really slow. Come on now!

The greens are in poor shape fairways have crab grass crowing and tee boxes are in poor shape. This is a good course for beginners

It's not a very challenging course, but it's enjoyable for what it is. Overall it's very narrow and not very long but if you're looking for a quick and inexpensive round of golf this is where you want to be.

Fred sly is a horrible horrible human being. He has 0 right working for anyone, let alone a golf course. Miserable, rude and unprofessional doesn’t even do justice. Will never think about playing here again.

They need to have Rangers on the course to keep up with pace of play..When we got to the 4th hole one of the workers was sleeping on his lawnmower on the tee box behind us so disrespectful..Other than that it's a nice course and pretty well kept.And yes I will always play this course it really is nice.

Dry greens
Greens were like rocks. Could not hold a green with irons. Course in pretty good shape otherwise

Need a ranger
The pace of play is very slow as there are many beginners who don’t know the etiquette about pace of play. As a result I skipped a hole at #6. When we got to the 10th tee, there were two sets of foursomes waiting at the 10th hole in front of us. That is not acceptable. I think people are taking their time there unnecessarily and may be allowing others to go through. They may be waiting for food or drink. But there needs to be a Ranger on the course especially at the 10th hole to avoid this from happening. I did see a cart with Ranger indicated on it, when I began the round and after I left the ninth hole, but this cart was at the clubhouse/restaurant area. The Ranger should be stationed at the 10th hole at almost all times to make sure the flow it’s going through. It does not make sense to have two foursomes waiting at the 10th hole. This is happened on several occasions for me. Waited a half an hour between finishing the ninth and 10th off at the tenth.

Course okay, pace of play not so much
First time playing here, overall happy. Biggest issue was pace of play. The 3:50 group in front of us tee’d off at 4:03, and we spent the entire day on carts waiting for the group in front of us, a foursome of novices that were walking. No rangers to speed things up. Course played well, although a million white feathers were everywhere on the course, making it difficult to find your ball.
Note for later rounds: staff get quite annoyed if you return a cart past 7:45, but with a pace of play reaching over four and a half hours, they should stop renting them out past 3.

Easy to get around
The course is very walkable which I prefer. There are several holes that have some ground hives that need to be addressed. Greens are in good shape.

Fun course - played 9
Fun little course, doesn't take itself too seriously. Nice, open fairways, average-sized greens.
Opens up with a short par 5, nice and open fairways to both sides to give you an easy warm-up.
2nd hole (par 4) goes back in the opposite direction, dog leg right with a medium-size green.
3rd hole is a very short par 3 (avoid the trap on the left)
4th is a lazy par 4, small green with a ditch and a bunker in the way of your green approach. Try to avoid it. I didn't..
5th hole is another par 3 - get after it.
6th is another dog leg right par 4. Hitting it straight down the middle about 200 yards leaves you about a 130 yd approach to the forward-sloped green. Slightly challenging putting, but again, all of these holes are wide open, so as long as you're reasonable with your slices/hooks, you should be good to go.
7th hole is another straightforward par 4, just avoid the bunker in front of the green. It's tall.
8th is a Par 3 with a large green, just avoid the bunker front left.
9th is the longest hole on the front 9 - 210+ from the whites to the first ditch, then about another 200 to the pin. Bunkers aren't nearly as bad as a few others.
