East Orange Golf Course

Decent short course but be aware of slow older golfers. Had to wait on almost every tee

I like East Orange course but man I lost like 25 balls with all the leaves. Overall good though.

No notice of ongoing maintenance during round. Top dressed all greens in morning! Was like putting in bunkers. Otherwise we love the place.

They sanded the greens on the first 9 holes. Putting was not great. Otherwise is a nice local course

Putting on the greens is basically the same as putting at the beach or in sand traps. Never seen so much sand on greens before. Besides Fred the starter, the staff of extremely rude and don’t care. The price is what it is but that’s still too expensive for this course.

Love playing at this place. The staff is friendly.

After 4 hours 15 minutes, I left the course at the 16th teebox. Waited every shot.

Greens were in OK shape, fairways good, tee boxes rarely had grass.

It would be a great course but they don’t manage the players or the pace of play. Example of the issues you face:

I was (hoping) playing 18 and just finished the 9th and approaching the 10th and two new golfers suddenly appeared and jump in front of us to play the back nine. It was already slow. Leading to an awkward confrontation at the 10th hole. There is simple no one who watches or cares on the course.

I always enjoy playing this course. The bunkers were in good shape and the greens were super fast but also in pretty good shape. The pace of play was slow, especially on the front nine. It got much better on the back. All in all, a very nice course.

course upkeep nd layout was very good. most holes were wide open. Playing blue tees lengthens the course to about 6400 yds. couple of very challenging holes. green well kept. would play again.

Horrible! This course has seen much better days. Haven't played here since 2021, and omg! No starter to regulate anything, starting at hole #1. Tee boxes were a joke. Almost zero grass and beat up. Greens also horrible. ZERO attempt to blow any leaves pre golf. Pace of play was very slow however while teeing off at 17, we finally saw/heard the ranger buzzing around. He picked up one piece of paper with a trash scooper and went on his merry way lol My backyard is better than this place but to boot! We were charged $70 including a cart. WTH. This course is more in line of a raggedy pitch & putt. Save your money & go elsewhere. I will not be returning.
