Lack of outside staff hinders a better review
The title says it all . . . This course has plenty of promise but the overall lack of management could be an issue . . Iy is in descentshape for the shape it is in but could be better . . ..
Nice course
Enjoyed this course as the pace was good and the condition, despite all the rain, was in good shape. The course itself is not that challenging, but for an average golfer it was fine. Will play there again.
Plenty of water.
I was a cloudy day between rainy days. Not many people on the course but it was wet feet time. The geese loved it.
A little more needed
EOGC has had some upgrades over the years and much has improved. Cart paths need to be redone completely. There are still greens with bare patches. No rangers so places back up quickly in spots.
Tee boxes
The course was in good shape but every tee box was the same length as the rough. Not sure why that was but it made for an interesting start to each hole.
Golf with the boyz !
I worked an early shift that day and on the way home I searched for a tee time. Lucky me! I found a perfect time for that day. I booked my time for a single player 9 holes, and once I arrived at the clubhouse they paired me with a group of great players. Me and the boys! Out there playing our best game ever! Definitely a great day with the bros! Beautiful course and great staff.
Ok - but small improvement would help a lot
It's a good set up and staff are great.
But
Greens are very slow and inconsistent. Bunkers were also rock hard but then it had been raining - and they should be avoided!
Speed up the greens and it would be at least 4 stars
Needs Improvement
Course is what it is for the money, but the most frustrating thing is that the starter puts people out on top of each other, and the pace of play is turtle speed. Tee times are 10 minutes apart on Golf Now, However, the starter sends the other group out 5 minutes later! Someone teach this man how to actually meter groups out accordingly! The ONLY reason I got there is that it’s literally 15 minutes from home! Other than that, it’s a chewed up dog track. Buy your ticket and take your chances with this place!
