Save your money, go else
Horrible! This course has seen much better days. Haven't played here since 2021, and omg! No starter to regulate anything, starting at hole #1. Tee boxes were a joke. Almost zero grass and beat up. Greens also horrible. ZERO attempt to blow any leaves pre golf. Pace of play was very slow however while teeing off at 17, we finally saw/heard the ranger buzzing around. He picked up one piece of paper with a trash scooper and went on his merry way lol My backyard is better than this place but to boot! We were charged $70 including a cart. WTH. This course is more in line of a raggedy pitch & putt. Save your money & go elsewhere. I will not be returning.
There are better options
For the pace of play alone I would refrain from recommending this course. But that is only one of many things that make playing there unpleasant. The "Ranger" is abrupt and sometimes even simply rude. When he is actually there. The whole feel of the place is blah.
Suitable for beginners to practice.
This course has potential. Currently it’s a bare minimum course suitable for beginners to get on and practice. Would not recommend for regular players. The worst is, the golf carts were filthy with bird droppings .
No cart
Arrived for got deal with cart then they tell me there is no cart

Not bad for the price
Decent little course that not many people know about. Greens were soft but true. Course isn’t difficult but there are some blind shots. Very few hazards. Tee boxes could’ve used some help, but if you’re using a tee it doesn’t matter so much. Only drawback was the weirdo running the snack shop at the turn. Where did they get this guy??? I think he auditioned for Deliverance and got rejected for being too creepy.
Short but still a decent challenge
Decent course. Mostly short par 4s. Fairly open but good bunkers and OB on some driving holes. The bar and grill is very good.
Better than rating
Walked 9 holes with $ 30. The course was not too difficult and it was good to walk even without a push cart. It provides the golf range for practice or warm up and clean restroom.
With some work, this could be very good
I have played at East Orange about ten times and I always enjoy my rounds there. The course is pretty well taken care of, greens are in good shape, tee boxes could use a little work, but are fine. Really, just a couple complaints. NONE of their ball washers have anything but dust in them and there is no water cooler anywhere on the course. Something so easy to do, yet they don't do it. But overall, a good experience
