Cut play short
Our tee time was 1:10. They wouldnt give a cart after 12:30. Then around 4:15 we were on the 16 th hole a ranger came by saying they will close tje main gate 4;45 so we were’nt able to finish or they will lock us in. So crazy that its funny!!! Playing here for years and this never happened before.
I had a pre-paid tee time via GolfNow. Arriving at the course, at check-in, they told me that my reservation was cancelled. I did not cancel anything. However the tee-time was still available and if I wanted to play, I had to pay once more and should sort out the pre-payment with GolfNow directly. Since I was set on playing I paid. At the starter I was told that I had to play alone or could join a flight that just was at the end of the first hole or wait at least 30 min. for a flight with open spot. Decided to skip hole 1 and join the flight in front. Arriving at hole 13 around 5 PM one of the ground keepers approached our group to tell us that the golf buggy's needed to be returned to the club house one and a half hour ahead of sunset. A pull cart was available but they also need to be returned half an hour later.
I returned to the club house totally fed-up and decided to call it a day. Now I need go and chase to get the pre-paid amount back, if ever. The course layout is nice and challenging, but one must also be enabled to play it with fun.

Nice layout
Course conditions were very good. Fast immaculate greens. Tee box's could use some love. Nice pace of play. Friendly staff. Terrific day of golf. Would definitely return.

Korean step Unfriendly
I am a traveler from Korea. I often use Overpack because I stay here for a long time. Korean female staff or volunteers are very unfriendly. To do so, at least receive service training. Many golf courses in Bergen County Korean staff are friendly, but two overly old Korean female staff are really unfriendly.

I am a traveler from Korea. I often use Overpack due to the lengthy stay here. I am very unfriendly whether it is a Korean female staff member or a volunteer. If you're going to do it, at least get some service training. Bergen County's many golf courses Korean staff are friendly, but two of the overpeck Korean old female staff are really unfriendly.

OK course but not worth the money
no amenities, awful conditions, buggy and filled with geese droppings all over. Worth maybe $15, but I've seen tee times north of $60, and that's absolutely insane.
Also, NO CARTS AFTER 5PM, but GolfNow doesn't specify this

"Longer" Course Conditions
Not long in the sense that the course is long to play, but in the sense that the grass there is LONG! Overall the course is in good shape, it just needs a shave. And I mean all aspects of the course, from the rough to the fairways to the greens...all the grass is longer than you would expect. We didn't lose any balls in the taller rough grass but it will eat up anything that doesn't find the fairway. Greens are in good shape, just SLOW. But I still think its worth playing, just make sure to really hit the ball!
