Preakness Valley Golf Course - East

I do like to there golf course because not for from my area and there different courses

I absolutely love this course. The conditions, the layout, and the balance of challenge versus playability are pretty close to perfect in my opinion. I’ve played the East Course, and now the West Course, and this is my preferred; however, both are quite good. I will keep coming back over and over again and, at least for now, it has become my top public course in the northern New Jersey area, at least in the affordable price range. There are a few others you’d have to put above this one in terms of conditions and uniqueness, but those are over $100, which is what makes this one such a great go-to course. It won’t break the bank.

The other thing I love about Preakness is that it has a driving range for warm-up. So few courses these days allow for full warm-up in putting, chipping, and driving/irons. Just another reason why I enjoy playing this course more than most.

Very nice golf course. Very good condition very playable. Yes I would recommend it to a friend.

The entire course was aerated but still charged full price. Tee boxes, fairways, and greens all punched. Won’t let you take a golf cart alone as a single. Maintenance worker followed us around the entire back 9 with a backpack blower blowing off the greens as we were hitting our approach shots and wouldn’t stop. Standing right near the pin machine going full bore. Usually love the place but should at least take something off for aeration.

Except for a few holes, this course is friendly to the average golfer. It is a very accommodating golf course.

I like to play this course once or twice a year. The layout is not tricky or quirky. It’s pretty straight forward and fair with the exception of a couple holes. They have also improved the drainage conditions, so it is better maintained than past years, though still wet in some areas. I like playing here and think it’s decent for the greens fees
