Slow for a weekday
Course is in good shape. 1 or 2 tees are suffering from weather or disease but overall it’s good. Pace was slow for a weekday. Ranger wasn’t effective until a couple holes into the back 9 but it wasn’t terrible. This is a good course in close proximity so it’s a keeper so long as you can get a good deal ($35 or less in my opinion).

One tee box. Was not good but other than that excellent course for the money. Every hole is different but with generous fairways

Good course.
Only issues were the sand traps weren’t raked and were in bad shape
Pace was ok. A little slow. But not too bad
Cart path only on some 5-6 holes because of wet spots

It was Fathers Day, so pace of play was a little slow, but to be expected. I really like this course, and it didn't disappoint us. perfect day.

Pretty good neighborhood course
There’s no Mountain View, but a nice and well groomed green course.

Quality MUNI
Played the course after a hard morning rain. The course is a good muni course the fairways and tee boxes are average. The greens I would rate above average as they were not beat up like a lot of muni courses. The pace of play was a little slower than expected for a b4 7 tee time. Had two foursomes in front of us that were all walking and could have been part of the problem. Most of the people I saw playing here were walking as it seemed a fairly easy course to walk. Staff was friendly. Overall is it a quality course.

Great all around course
Although not country club quality, I found the course intriguing and a fair challenge. Greens were in excellent condition for a municipal course. The only negative was the poor drainage on a few of the holes that caused some soggy areas.

soggy morning
played early morning after hard rain the day before, cart path only but all things considered the course played well.it was in good condition. cant wait to play it again when it dries out.

Not normal jersey
Most of the course I have played in jersey are generally flat, with some water and extra bunkers. Mountain View is mostly straight forward. But some nice elevation changes, raised, small and protected greens that rolled good for a recent airation, and fairly tight fairways. Very enjoyable round for a 18 and 26 HDCP. Definitely will return
Getting better
I like this course. Nice layout but the winter wasn’t kind to Mountain View. The recent aeration should help but today’s round saw bumpy greens and some tees in rough shape. I’d give it another couple weeks until it’s up to “par”. But I plan on coming back.
