Incredibly slow
Aside from a ridiculously slow pace of play we had an ok day
Course is in reasonably good shape.
However the First cut wad way too thick. Probably hadn’t been mowed in a while
Bunkers are in bad shape and leaves are a factor
Tee boxes, fairways and greens although a bit slow were all ok
But here it is late Oct and the pace of play was as bad as we’ve seen
A must try
Over all a really nice course. Play is slow, especially on the weekends.

Course is in great shape. Staff very friendly. Play was a bit slow but for a fabulous weather day in late October tolerable.

I guess a sign of the times
Got a great rate on golf now, so made a last minute decision to play. Got rained out after 5 holes and the course refunded us at the golf now rate divided by 13 holes remaining. Would have thought a replay was in order but I guess those days are gone.
One of my favorites
I have been playing Mountainview for about 45 years. It's still the same course and it's not an easy place to score. Some very long par 4's. Greens are somewhat small and bunker protected. So you need to have good control of all of your clubs. Otherwise, it's chip and putt. Today was a rough round. Yes, played alot out of the rough.

Immaculate condition
Immaculate condition. Played golf here today and the grounds were in unbelievable condition. Had a great time. Course is laid out well. Play here several times a year and always love it.

Nice layout
This course has a nice layout. Staff was very friendly and helpful. There was a foursome in front of us that took their time and slowed us considerably. We notified the ranger and he took care of it. Greens were in great shape but tee boxes needed some work. The tee boxes at some holes needed work and in some cases you couldn’t even insert your tee in the ground since it was so dry and hard. Weather has been tough on courses all over.

Course was in excellent shape, although its not my favorite layout the fairways and greens were in very good shape.

Beautiful fun layout, terrible pace of play
This course is a great, challenging layout. Well manicured, decent fairways and really stellar greens. However, the pace of play is awful and the rangers won’t do anything about it. Group ahead of me took 2-1/2 hours on the front and ranger rudely told me there’s nothing he can do because they are on time. I questioned how they have a 5 hour expected overall pace and was given the shrug. Not to mention my round cost more due to not living in Mercer county. It’s a shame, would love to play again, instead I cut my round short and won’t be back. No one should take 5 hours to play 18 with carts, I’ve easily walked the course in 3 hours before while it was wide open early season, so it’s not the layout that holds it up.

Great Layout
Great layout for a public course, very old style layout. Great greens, fairways good. Staff was excellent, especially the 2 rangers.

Not worth the money
Pace of Play was pathetic. I saw the same ranger out on the course during my round 4 times and he did NOTHING about the pace. Fairways were horrible. Was not worth the money I paid. Will never play here again.
