Hopewell Valley Golf & Country Club

Staff was about the friendliest, most helpful I’ve ever encountered and made up for the very few hiccups the course offered up.

I’ve played this course in past years. Hopewell has gotten better every year. They have a few Tee boxes that should be closed and rebuilt like 8. Perhaps it’s already on their schedule, but really that’s the only weakness at this course I highly recommend

I wanted to play this course for a while but unfortunately it was wet from all the North Easter rain and cart path only. It would have been more fun dry and not so much walking back and forth to the cart.

Had a great time out on the course today. Got paired up with a good group, and one of the guys knew the routing perfectly, which saved us a lot of trouble. It was cart-path-only, but I looked at the bright side: it forced me to hit straighter drives so I didn't have to hike across the fairway. A few of the greens were pretty covered in leaves, so we had to brush them off before putting. That said, I do wish players would be a bit more cognizant and repair their divots on the fairways and greens.

Fall is definitely right around the corner!

Course was air raided, rough was way too thick, and they didn’t let us finish playing, kicked us off the course at 6:30 PM, 6:30!!!! And then had the balls to say “well we have to gas up the carts and clean everything!” Not my problem, $74 to play a horrible course and 16 holes? Never again. What a joke calling yourself a country club. Embarrassing

Never seen a course in such bad shape , the group I was with stopped after a few.

On the more challenging side length wise. Only issue is the course doesn't drain that well which causes "cart path only" issues.

Really like the layout of this golf course. It gives you everything that will challenge you. Course is in good condition, just bummed that on this day it was cart path only.

Hopewell is a county run old private country club with golf, swimming, & tennis courts. The scenery in the area and on this course is admirable. Enough variety of open and treelined holes. Genuinely , an enjoyable round of golf.

Had an early tee time and ended up playing alone, which is ok for me.

Staff was friendly and helpful. The groundskeepers were busy shaping up the course. The crew were accommodating while completing their routines.

The course is challenging and fun. I enjoy the unique layout.

Bunkers and greens were in great shape

It's a descent course for the money. It seems to me that they don't really maintain the course but I'll be coming here if the deal is good.

They cancelled on me because of a tiny bit of rain that stopped

Some of tee boxes don't have grasses. They need to repair some of tee boxes constantly
