Greens need to be rolled
Nice layout but the greens obviously need to be rolled. Very bumpy. HV could be the jewel of the Mercer Co. courses if they just put a little more effort into the greens. Fairways were beautiful; tee boxes need work.
Beautiful Challenging Course
Beautiful course that is hallenging, with water hazards, fast greens, and plenty of well placed sand bunkers. Definitely will play here again and Definitely recommend it.

Beautiful course, with plenty of challenges. Water hazards, plenty of sand traps, and fast greens. You definitely want to be putting uphill.
Great conditions
Course well maintained. carts look like new.challenging but fair.
Great Value well taken care of
I would play this course any day. It is fun and challenging enough to make it a good time. It gives you a chance to score but also has unique challenges and tree placements that force a tough decision..
Better and better
Course is in great shape, greens are perfect fairways very good. Rough is still tuff but it’s the ruff. They took out some trees and upgraded some bunkers. Course is on the right track
Need renovate green and bunkers
The starter staff were very friendly. However, although the greens were aerated, they needed more maintenance, and the bunkers were very poorly maintained. Also, it seems like the trees on some holes need to be trimmed.
Would play again
Course in great shape, some green are bumpy and slow, season just started so, no surprise, but there a lots of teenagers playing during twilight hours without proper golf etiquette.. shouting, screaming and hit the ball every direction. Next time, try to play early tee time.
Hopewell Valley Golf Club
Great course with a well-designed layout that offers a fun but challenging round for players of all skill levels. The course was in good condition, and you can tell it’s well maintained. The staff really stood out—very friendly, welcoming, and accommodating throughout the entire visit. On top of that, it’s an excellent value for the quality of the experience. Definitely a course worth playing again.
Opening day
Excellent conditions for early march. Course was surprisingly dry and playable. Greens were slow and bouncy but that’s to be expected. Walked 18 in 4 hours
