Peninsula Golf Club

Played a very slow round considering how backed up this course is because the greedy owners try to fit tee times like sardines in a can. Every hole is backed up, and the old grumpy ranger is telling us to pick up our balls on the 9th green while I’m putting for birdie. If you wanted to be home before it gets dark out, maybe you shouldn’t be closing a golf course. And the last time I played here this old grumpy sack of feces was bothering the group in front of me for no good reason. Definitely don’t waste your money and go play bethpage 10 min away for $10 less.

Dangerous layout with golfers who are rude and don’t know any etiquette

The course is great for a number of reasons. The ease of making reservations, the course layout is great for beginners and experienced players alike. The staff is very friendly and they try to move everyone so the pace of play doesn’t get backed up.

All in all it was good. The only problem I had with Peninsula was that I reserved and paid for 4 tee times, but my sons flight got delayed getting to NY, therefore couldn’t play and we only had 3 in our group. We were paired with a single, which was fine, but Peninsula didn’t refund me for the tee time that I’d already paid for my son. I guess that’s NY compared to AL.
