A hidden Gem
Used to be a scratch golfer but now am closer to a 8.
2nd time playing and I loved it more than the first time out.
Outstanding layout for a shorter course. Definitely not a driver heavy round although you can open it up and also play for some risk/reward
Tests your shot making. Smaller greens. More target golf.
Normally hate courses that don’t allow for Driver on most par 4 or longer. Played the whites at 6200 yards and it plays so much longer.
Great course. Greens were a little long. Very receptive.
A very very nice course and layout. Well designed. Lose yourself out on the course.

It’s Really Difficult to Not Like this Course.
First time this year playing Saxon, my informal “home course.” The course is in terrific shape for late June. Only two gripes: playing midday means having to dodge sprinklers on the tees fairways and greens that go on and off seemingly at random. I wish they would just water early morning and late afternoon. Also, the course needs to get it’s individual hole info on the USGA GHIN site so that USGA members who use it can take full advantage..

Great layout
Stumbled on this course from golf now app. I’m from Nassau and I needed something in a pinch. Saw the reviews and gave this a whirl. The course was phenomenal. What a great layout. Fun and fair. The starter was a miserable curmudgeon, but there was another former starter there that was as nice as pie. Overall excellent experience.

Great morning out.
I had an 8:45a tee time. Was able to get out a little earlier. Mask was required to enter the pro shop. Played with a great group. Loved this course. Definitely coming back.
