Course in Good Shape, but . . .
First time on Saxon this year. The course is in very good shape. Pace of play was a bit slow (5:15 round with an 11 am start). I would give the course 4 stars if except for the fact that the Mens Room by the 13th green is a filthy cesspool. Clogged toilet. Dirty sink. Etc. etc. Dreadful and I don’t understand why the Westchester County or NYS health officials would ket them get away with this.
Great Course
Another nice Westchester county course. In great shape and moved rite along since the short rain storm scared some people off. Starter was cranky and pushy but guess we all have bad days.
Memorial Day Westchester
Always like Saxon Woods - tight but fair. Pace of play was very very slow but group in front let us run ahead. No rangers to monitor slow play. Rough was thick and greens were moderate. Course overall was in very very good shape. Nothing unexpected for Westchester over the holiday weekend.
Nice course
Friendly staff, nice pace of play, course in great condition
List a headcover
...... and it was returned. I checked the next day. The staff were very accommodating (starter on course drive around asking other groups) and cart garage was up to speed when I came in the next day.
Cool by me
First hole
I like everything of this hole, except for the first tee. I wont like to start a round with rescue or an iron. Its too short and dogleg right. Even if i hit a rescue or hybrid straight. It goes to the woods. The first tee affects you a lot on the feeling of the whole round.
