To start with, when I arrived I was told that I had to pay an additional fee due to paying with a credit card. Who does that anymore? Annoying!

Next, went through 4 carts before finding a cart that was not filthy and was running well.

Had trouble finding hole one. No signage.

At 9a, the irrigation was still on and had to be played as a hazard. Again annoying.

Tees needed cutting and were very weedy.

Fairways were lacking a lot of grass and were like hitting the ball off of concrete. My partner and I topped a lot of balls because you had to hit perfectly in order to hit off rock hard fairways.

Greens were not bad. Some missing grass and disease, but overall they played fast.

I will not be playing here again.

Fairways were like concrete and missing a lot of grass. It was very hard to hit off of them.

Tees were long and very weedy.

Snack shack wasn’t open on the turn.

Greens were OK. Some were missing some grass but not bad.

Will not be playing here again

Course conditions were less than desirable. Course was being watered while folks were playing. Staff driving carts all over course to perform maintenance, no regard to golfers. Don’t waste your money.

Since the last time I played the course, a couple weeks ago, it has dried out dramatically. There are spots on some fairways that have no grass and a handful of greens have lost some grass. They must’ve watered a lot this morning as there were puddles around some of the greens. The tees required mowing as they were quite shaggy and also wet from heavy watering. At 1 o’clock in the afternoon one of the grounds crew was out raking the traps. He followed me on a couple holes and never shut his machine off until I looked at him to give him the hint that it was annoying.

Got to play here with my 2 sons and it was there first time. We really enjoyed ourselves. Had a 7:52 tee time but got there before 7 and the staff let us go out early which we really appreciated. Last time I played, I commented that the tee boxes were in rough shape and they have definitely worked to improve them. My only comment now in them is to mow the-the grass has grown in nicely. Most of the greens were in good shape and where they were not, the staff made sure to put the pins in good areas. The layout of the course is great with a lot of different types of holes and my boys and I really enjoyed it and will be back when we visit family again in Rochester.

I booked the early tee time the day before so I could hopefully get on and off the course quickly. I was the first one off the tee and played 18 by myself in two hours on the nose. I was thinking that I would be playing with another golfer and a three hour round would be likely. It was fantastic to finish so quickly as I had other things to get done. I dodged some of the grounds crew and they were nice to hold off on a couple of holes so I could get through. The course had dried out since I played a few weeks ago so bump and run into some of the greens was in order but that just adds to the challenge.

I’ve golfed a bunch of courses in the area but this was by far my favorite. It was a really rainy day but we figured we could still squeeze in 18. I was surprised at how dry the course was! The course was well maintained and definitely one of the better values in the area! I’ll be a returning golfer for sure! Also, the clubhouse is beautiful with amazing food!

As always a round at Braemar is a pleasant round. Staff is always nice and laid back and theres been a lot of work done to the place over the last several years to address drainage issues in the past. Course is a little stressed and diseased currently but thats to be expected for the price however they may want to at least apply fungicide to the greens to avoid summer and brown patch on the bentgrass. Also wish they had treated a few of the ash trees or had a better replacement plan in place as the emerald ash borer killed every ash tree on the course which is a shame as they were an amazing piece of the course. Braemar is usually on the lower end of the price spectrum but does provide a challenge in spots of the course. Clubhouse is newer and a huge upgrade over the old one that they used 10+ years ago.

Friendly staff, but the pace of play was absolutely atrocious. Most likely won’t be returning...

This was safe easy way to get a great deal with no hassle.

Walked right in and staff new who I was and ready for me as well. I will use this app again.

First outing this season for me and my golfing partner. Conditions (course and weather) were better than expected. Didn't score well, but had a great day!

Didn’t have my tee time although was prepaid. Back nine took 4 hours and group in front backed up the course.

At 7:36 am , the gentleman who worked behind the counter ( Patrick) made the experience pleasant. He was engaging , knowledgeable , and friendly. Well done Patrick.
