Best Westchester Golf Course
Maple Moor is a fantastic place to play regardless of one’s level, from “average” to “professional”.
If you’re a beginner this is also a great place to start.
Everyone who works there could not be nicer or more helpful!
The Head Pro,Tom Avezzano Jr., is fantastic and a great person to take lessons from.

Nice course. Tough pins
Course is generally well kept especially the greens but the holes are often cut far too close to the fringes or on steep spots. Sometimes a golfer can putt well beyond a hole and have the ball roll back off the green. Very frustrating. There are USGA guidelines

Average Muni
First time playing MM. the course was in good condition and the greens were FAST. Very undulating and somewhat punitive with the pin placements. Small greens which is probably limiting the number of pin positions. So fast and undulating your ball would roll back to the fairway.
Play was average for a county course, atrocious. 4-somes taking Patrick Cantlay level of time to setup, hit, etc.
No beverage cart or water jugs on the course aside from halfway house at 5 (which closes at 5 PM). No driving range; a putting green is available but not allowed to chip for warmup on it.
Course seems jammed in and is pretty tight at times. 25-35 yard fairways which for a muni isn’t realistic.
I’m a 10 handicap and there are better courses in the area but if you want a good time by all means go here. Mohansic or Sprain Lake are better options IMO.

Cool round!
The course is in great condition. Diana and the staff were awesome! We had a very nice pace the golfers we were paired with were extremely nice. I'm playing at least once a week all season. Thanks again for making my golfing experience wonderful!

Tight, narrow course
Great course, much nicer than the first time I went which was about 1year ago. Greens and fairways well maintained. Nice views, pace of place was pretty smooth on a Friday morning.
Will be back after I make the Westchester municipal rounds.
