Maple Moor Golf Course

First time playing Maple Moor - I have to say the course was in excellent shape , I mean excellent ! Although if you don't hit the fairway - you could spend a decent amount of time looking fora ball. If the rough were a half inch shorter - that would be forgiving - while I was lucky enough to only lose 2-3 balls -my playing partners went thorough 2 dozen . I had a great time as I'm sure anyone would . Great course - Great people.

Actually teed off early and didn't have any significant wait times.

Course was well maintained. Greens great.

All in all a great round of golf.

Course design is fair. Greens were in good condition. Bunkers were in fair condition. Beautiful setting. Overall a nice little course.

A short drive from Manhattan, Single Rookie Player, 1/2 hour early, I knew at check in that I was in for a great round. Matched up with a local - NICK, who was "MOOR" like a tour guide. by 3rd or 4th tee, I found myself in what seemed to be a private clinic full of tips, focus, style & laughter! Pace was comfortable & conditions ideal. Thanks Nick & all other contributors to this "MOOR" than satisfying experience.

not a bad course greens need to be cut and rolled the bar never has buy backs overpriced

I discovered Maple Moor this season, and it's become my go-to weekday venue. It's in great shape, with the exception of a couple of greens that are bumpy and need tending. The layout is fairly straight-forward with not many risk-reward holes. Staff is great. The course is It's an easy, 35 minute ride from uptown Manhattan. GPS accuracy is excellent. My only gripe is that Westchester needs to join the 21st Century and switch over to electric carts. Not a long track and highly recommended for senior players who don't hit that long off the tees. No driving range, so be prepared to tee off cold.

We played this course after 3 days of on and off rain. It was soggy but other than that the conditions were great for the last day in December. I would recommend this course to a friend and will also return to play here. It took 4 1/2 hours to play a round with a busy front 9 and empty back 9. Best hot deal price around me.

Enjoyed the course as a wonderful looking and placement of holes convenient.

The extremely slow pace of play made it difficult to enjoy the course, which was very nice, well kept and fair.

greens were in great shape and course well maintained

Great course, 3hr 40min round - very fair, wide fairways, good greens. Cart technology a +.

Always and great play, nice people and amazing food!

Good pace of play for late afternoon. Course in decent shape.

My friend and I had a great time playing. We definitely plan on returning soon!

Just a great all around day. Course was in good shape. The GPS in the cart made round more pleasurable And what a great setting!

Found the course in good condition. Fairways needs to be cut fown a little lower. Greens very nice. Over all had a good time

Nice course, super friendly staff and in decent shape for a muni so close to NYC,but get a ranger out on that course! !! Went out as a foursome on a Monday afternoon at 3:45. The first 9 took us 3:10 and that's including the foursome ahead of us who gave up at the 4th hole. There was a horrible threesome ahead of them, but no ranger to monitor play! Shame. I can only imagine what weekends are like!!

I thought the course layout was very good. The fairways are in great shape. The rough much better than most public courses. The greens were slower than I prefer. They still haven't recovered from an aeration. We played with a regular that said the pace (5 hrs) was much slower than normal.
I will be back!

This is a nice course only 30 mins outside of NYC. Needed to find a place to get a quick round in with a friend. Booked on GolfNow app. They were very friendly in the club house. There were people in place and a ranger to keep an eye on things. I would love to get back there when the greens are recovered from Aeration and the rough wasn't so thick around the greens. Will be a much nicer experience then and easier on my scorecard.
Overall, a very enjoyable day.

It was a busy Monday but they paired us up with another twosome and the pace of play was almost exactly 4 hours. Early fall, no leaves anywhere so they cleaned up well. Fairways and greens and very good shape . Wonderful experience. Played with my buddy who never played there; single digit handicap and he loved it!! And we are both former private club guys...
