Good value on a hot deal
The greens were great and the pace was okay for an early morning tee time. The grass around the greens needed to be cut a little. It was tough chipping around the greens .
Heck of a course!
Course is phenomenal as always, only thing that needs improvement is the bunkers but other then that nothings short of one of the most beautiful courses in North Alabama! Definitely a challenging course with beautiful scenery!
Great Day at the Lake
Beautiful day at Goose Pond Lake. Got a great deal on GolfPass/Now for 2 players.
Pace of play was generally very good, but we were paired with a mother/son pair and she was a new golfer. We tarried a bit and did end up letting one group play through before we got to 9. It seemed there was a break in traffic for the back and we weren't caught up with until 18, so we never really fealt too crowded.
The course was beautiful, pretty challenging, and, other than the heat, it was a great day.
Range balls are a little pricey (only minor gripe).
Fun little course
Had a great time playing goose pond plantation. Got a hot deal and it was worth it. Would be less impressed paying full $70 but <$40 was definitely worth it. Overall the course and greens were in great shape. I was playing by myself and pace was pretty good. Folks let me play thru where appropriate. Would def play here again if in the area.
Excellent outing
Staff was extremely friendly and course was in good condition. Fairways were good and greens rolled well, but had some patchy spots.
Beautiful course just lacking amenities
Beautiful well maintained course with a good mix of par length. Just make sure you grab drinks before your round as they do not have any cart service.
Great Course
The course was in very good condition. The only issue is that the greens is they were recently sanded. But no issues with putting on them.
I would recommend this course to anyone.
Nice golf course that needs some help...
Very nice course, just it looked like no one wants to be there?!... Not much enthusiasm found in the club house or on the course.
The layout is great, and the fairways were in good shape.
The problem was on the greens. Grass was not cut or rolled so you had to hummer each put to get to the hole. NOT good at all.
Sand traps were also left unattended. It can be a great golf course.
