Morning view down the Par-5 5th fairway. A strong drive, especially to the center-right fairway, sets you up to go for the green in two! Photo submitted by vmustang on 04/25/2021

Tight course
This was a shorter course with lots of par 3’s. Holes were stacked on top of each other and hard to tell where your Green and fare-way were.
Fun course! Especially with summer pass!
Course is always in good condition with grass and little sign of dirt!
Real sand in bunkers!
Staff is great!
Val at check in desk!
Paul and Kenny as starters!
Love this place!
The staff is incredible..from Mike out front, to Steve and Andy in the pro shop. One of my favorite spots to visit. Course has a simple layout but can be challenging with 100+ year old pines lining the fairway, small greens, and a lot of bunkers. Great time overall and highly recommend!
Slow greens piece of plate was slow and of course was in OK condition, but they had heavily watered it to keep it from burning and it was very difficult to play and chip
Great day
Started pretty early. Rained the night before maybe the reason there were tons of bugs attacking us.
We asked Marshall for off spray. He was awesome looking for some.
While he was looking, Jordon at the turn shack had some and let us use it. She was awesome and kind. She also made some awesome Bloody Mary’s.
Thanks
Very good playing conditions. Greens were a little slow. Impressed by their summer conditions
Mundane and repetitious. No real character from. Hole to hole...
Great Condition
For this time of year the course was in fantastic shape!!
San Marcos Golf Course
There were some holes that had temporary tee boxes, other than that, the overall condition of the course was very good. Fairways were in very good shape, and the greens were very nice. The play was perfect, but somewhat due to playing mid morning in 100+ degrees! Staff is very friendly. I would recommend this course.
First time playing
Overall my experience was positive. The greens we long and did not roll true. A few bare spots on the fairways. Great old classic layout. Would like to play again when in better condition.
Oldest Course In Arizona - Well Maintained And Up To Par!
Excellent course conditions abound. Fairways are soft and green with very little brown anywhere. Greens have been aerated and grown in nicely. Tee boxes are flat and easy to hit from. Plenty of shade from the tall oak and sycamore trees through the course. Golf partner GPK liked the course and said she would play it again!
Many times if I am in a rush they will let me play 9 holes. Can't beat San Marcos for conditions, price, pace-of-play and layout.
