The JW Marriott Phoenix Desert Ridge Resort & Spa is among the largest golf resorts in Arizona with 865 guest rooms and suites. It is an amenity of the next door Wildfire Golf Club, home to two full-length, 18-hole golf courses designed by Nick Faldo and Arnold Palmer. The resort features five pool areas, including a lazy river and water slide, as well as the more exclusive and quiet Griffin Bay pool area. There is also a fitness center, full-service Revive Spa and tennis courts. Managed by Marriott Golf, there is a kids program and kids play golf free at Wildfire Golf Club with a paid adult.

Course was in GREAT condition

Thoroughly enjoyed my round. Course was challenging on the back but because I was spraying the ball too much.

The starter was a little douchy and the cart gal couldn't rush us fast enough so she could go home before 2pm.

Love the round though. Had an audience on the front 9 as well.

Great conditions

Everything was perfect. If I were to give a critique it would be the greens were slow and longer. Might have not been cut low due to the heat in August. If the greens were cut it would have been perfect.

Wildfire never disappoints

Played Palmer corse yesterday , course is in very good condition and the greens have healed well from the earlier aeration ; however they rolled a little slow for me . This course is always a pleasure to play and never disappoints. I would recommend

Great course especially for the price

This summer rate allows play to those who want to play better courses, but can’t afford the high rates in the winter. The course was in great shape. It is somewhat narrow on the Palmer course, but not too difficult. The pace was slow because I had a foursome in front of me that did not have the etiquette to let me play through. I would recommend this course or try the Faldo course and take advantage of these great rates and beautiful surroundings.

Slow and Bumpy

Layout is great, staff is top notch. Only complaint is no notification of recent punching of greens. Very slow and bumpy trying to keep them healthy.

Greens will be great in about 2 weeks.
