Wildfire Golf Club-Palmer Signature Course
Course was in fantastic condition just coming off over seed. However, I wanted a sandwich before teeing off, nothing available but a sit down option and I was appalled that parking to play golf was $10. If that is standard practice for the Wildfire Golf Club.. I will not return.
Wildfire always fantastic
Wildfire was exceptional yet again. Just before the overseed so the Bermuda Greens were difficult for this Canadian as we don’t get much Bermuda in Canada!
Only negative was the range was closed for overseeing but that is expected this time of year in the desert. Had a pre round pint instead on the lovely shaded patio… 10/10 for the day…
Prepare for bunkers
The Faldo course has 180 bunkers! Luckily I didn’t find them often. Greens were a little slow but the course was in good shape overall. Great deal on the hot deal.
excellent course
I found that this course covers everything excellent.
Shortened round
The course was in nice shape, but we only played 12 holes. Huge winds and rain.
Sand on Steroids
Crazy amount of tough bunkers on this course. Greens were true but protected by sand all around most holes. Even though course was almost empty slow groups consistently held up pace. I got a deal on price but how could you have a higher priced course without any Marshalls monitoring. Not one. Driving range was closed but chipping & putting areas were good. Bag staff was good as well. Too many other nice courses here. This is a pass.
Good Hot Deal
Good deal with GolfNow. I would not pay the full price to play this in Sept. Typical resort course. Keep it in play and you can score.
Had a great time!!
I have played both Wildfire courses several times when we visit AZ. The Faldo course is very challenging due to all the bunkers. Thankfully I shot my best score ever on the Faldo playing the blue/white combo tees. As a senior, I was thrilled with my score. The course was in excellent condition and pace of play was great!!
All good
Playing the course was great fun....The rough was a little spongy & clingy.
Good Time
Good time on the course though it was very hot. Totally expected and prepared for the heat. The course is somewhat challenging. I would play again, happily.
Great destination course
The course was in great condition considering it was over 100 degrees. The 108 bunkers are challenging, especially the deep ones. Desert golf at its best.
