The Wigwam Arizona
About The Wigwam Arizona
Located in the West Valley near Phoenix-Scottsdale is one of Arizona's most historic golf resorts, Wigwam. Set on 440 acres, this village-style resort features three 18-hole golf courses, including two designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr., most notably the famous Gold Course. The resort features 331 casitas and suites with large private patios and several resort pools, including a new 25-foot water slide tower. The resort-style golf courses are more parkland in nature than surrounding desert courses and feature palm trees and water hazards sprinkled throughout. There are four dining concepts, led by the signature Litchfield's Restaurant serving local farm-to-table cuisine, while there is Red's Bar & Grill for casual fare and the Wigwam Bar, which is the social epicenter of the resort. Recreation outside of the 54 holes of golf is nine lighted tennis course and two regulation bocce-ball courts, sand volleyball, bike rentals and yard games.Facts

Wigwam Golf Muy Bueno
Been coming to the Wigwam for over 40 years and have always enjoyed playing all three of their courses. Through the eighties and nineties, playing on these golf courses was a very helpful to my golf experience. I then learned just what golf course upkeep and off course amenities to look for when making tee times any where we play in this great country. Thank you for the memories.
Adios
Good looooooong outing
Course was in good shape. Played the champion/club combo so decent yardage. The staff was friendly. The round was a grueling solid 5hrs. Because of that I was ready to leave after the 14th but stuck it out. Overall, I had a good time and enjoyed the course.
Excellent Condition
The course is in excellent condition. The greens are nice; the bunkers have fresh sand bunkers and fairways are in great shape...
Red's is aways a great post round destination...
Shared carts
The main thing I didn’t like is as a solo player I had to share a cart with a stranger for 4 hours. Most courses will advertise that that they make you share. Since this course didn’t mention it I thought I would get my own as custom for other courses.
Would recommend with asterisk and will probably be why I won’t return. Too many other courses don’t have that rule. And it’s odd nobody said a thing until I drove all the way over to the red course then they pair you up. Not a good move.
Nice Course
Course in very good condition. Nice Fairways. Good greens..Pace of play is okay.
Great Value, Nice Course, Friendly Staff
1st time playing. Blue is a shorter course but don't be fooled by the yardage. Greens rolled nicely but the staff said they were elevated and tricky (so true). Practice area was nice also. Very good value.
Bogeyfree
After almost a year, finally got a chance to play my favorite Wigwam course: the Red Course. It did not disappoint. Course is in excellent condition. Paired up with a couple from CA. Enjoyed every minute of it.
Fun time on the Gold Course
Gold course was a tough challenge in very breezy conditions. Course knowledge is very important. Design is excellent, turf condition was very good, and greens were large with subtle breaks. Bunkers were inconsistent.
