The Wigwam Arizona
About The Wigwam Arizona
Located in the West Valley near Phoenix-Scottsdale is one of Arizona's most historic golf resorts, Wigwam. Set on 440 acres, this village-style resort features three 18-hole golf courses, including two designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr., most notably the famous Gold Course. The resort features 331 casitas and suites with large private patios and several resort pools, including a new 25-foot water slide tower. The resort-style golf courses are more parkland in nature than surrounding desert courses and feature palm trees and water hazards sprinkled throughout. There are four dining concepts, led by the signature Litchfield's Restaurant serving local farm-to-table cuisine, while there is Red's Bar & Grill for casual fare and the Wigwam Bar, which is the social epicenter of the resort. Recreation outside of the 54 holes of golf is nine lighted tennis course and two regulation bocce-ball courts, sand volleyball, bike rentals and yard games.Facts

Great golf
Love the Wigwam, the red course was in excellent condition. Fairways were lush and the greens rolled true what can I say? It’s a treat when you get to play out at the wigwam. The 18th hole is a tester, first shot is key, then threaten the needle between the water on the left and right is a must so that third shot into the green gives you a birdie opportunity enjoy the Wigwam
Fantastic Experience
The course was deceivingly difficult but beautiful and exciting to play regardless. I definitely plan to return and play the Red course next. I look forward to conquer in the Gold course someday..
Loved this course!
This course is absolutely fantastic! The greens are very challenging and fairways are open making it friendly for all players, while still managing to be a challenge for more advanced players. There are a lot of blind shots with mature trees blocking your greens, which can be both challenging but also kind of annoying if that’s not your thing. There will be plenty of opportunities for advanced golfers to work on shot shaping while less experienced golfers can work on prudently completing the hole. The only downfall is that the pace of play when we played was a little slow due to some newer, not ready for the course golfers, but it was also a Saturday morning so it’s expected somewhat. Other than that we thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Wigwam courses and will absolutely be coming back on our next trip to AZ.
Fun Course!
Condition of the course was very good! Nice playable track. It was a little confusing for my first time there. No one at the bag check. Limited info from bag staff. Parking is across the street with no one to watch bags if you drop them off. Half a mile by cart to get to the red 1st tee box that no one mentioned….
Fun round
Nice course look forward to playing the gold and red courses. Different set up with a par 5-3-5-3 set up.
Great Golf
We played the red course and it was great - nice and green and well maintained. There are two other courses (Blue and Gold) which looked to be equally fun to play. I would absolutely recommend playing this course.
wigwam never dissapoints
The entire experience is just top notch. the value proposition is as good as anywhere in the valley. Wigwam's price point reflect the pride of their golf experience, but unlike many other courses in the valley, is not unrealistic.
Course
Awesome. Definitely best course I have played since relocating to AZ.
Great day for golf!
We picked this by the reviews and location and it was beautiful. My sister and brother in law joined us for 18 holes and it was awesome. Great driving range and pace of play. Challenging holes. The greens were very quick. We had perfect weather and great fun!
Wigwam Worth It
Fun layout with real challenges coming in on 16, 17 and 18.
Greens were fast and in excellent shape.
Fairways were in much better condition than other courses I play that week in Phoenix area.
Pace of play was very good.
Excellent condition and challenging. Great people on the property.
