The Wigwam Arizona
About The Wigwam Arizona
Located in the West Valley near Phoenix-Scottsdale is one of Arizona's most historic golf resorts, Wigwam. Set on 440 acres, this village-style resort features three 18-hole golf courses, including two designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr., most notably the famous Gold Course. The resort features 331 casitas and suites with large private patios and several resort pools, including a new 25-foot water slide tower. The resort-style golf courses are more parkland in nature than surrounding desert courses and feature palm trees and water hazards sprinkled throughout. There are four dining concepts, led by the signature Litchfield's Restaurant serving local farm-to-table cuisine, while there is Red's Bar & Grill for casual fare and the Wigwam Bar, which is the social epicenter of the resort. Recreation outside of the 54 holes of golf is nine lighted tennis course and two regulation bocce-ball courts, sand volleyball, bike rentals and yard games.Facts

Course Review
The course was in great shape! Loved the layout and would definitely come back! Played in 4 hours!!
Excellent course!
Beautiful greens! Excellent lay out! Staff friendly! Great course! We will be back!
Great course to play!
Played the Gold course for the first time with my wife. Fantastic condition, great pace (did 18 holes in under 4 hours). Greens can be tough but the overall layout was fun, challenging and fair. I'd definitely play here again!
Red is Good
The Red course is a fun course even for a foursome of 80 year olds We had a good time. Weather was cool but there were not many other golfers to slow us down!😇
Golfer with 8 hcp index GHIN
flat course, challenging greens, slow pace of play, short course BLUE. Gold course is more difficult.
Great snow bird starter
Played here in Mid - Feb; from Midwest. Course was in very good shape. Staff was excellent. Pace of play was very good. The course is traditional - other than water / can’t really get in trouble; trees are scattered and rough is nonexistent. Greens were very good. Great stop for a snowbird warning up for Spring golf.
Worth the Hot Deal cost
Wigwam must be one of the first golf resorts in the Phoenix area -dating to 1929. The trees are mature, grand and beautiful- but don’t drive your ball into them! We enjoyed a delightful morning playing with one of the members and his girlfriend, both better golfers but very helpful and tolerant of our struggles at times. The greens are challenging- but in the good way; they were immaculate. Fairways are perfectly trimmed and the whole ( Red) course is a joy to play.
Very nice amenities and golf quality
The golf course is a good challenge, very goodgolf conditions, greens run fine. The golf design has a lot of cris-cross.
Best day of our 7 day golf trip.
Conditions were 10 out of 10
Could play there day after day.
Fine day
Really liked the Blue Course.
Really unusual start par 5, par 3, 5, 3 & 5. First par 4 at the 6th.
15th island green just like Sawgrass!
Teed off at 10:40 - 4 hour round.
No complaints. Would play again.
Great course
Excellent course, really good conditions, just a group ahead of us that was playing the wrong tees, and you know the consequences of those type of players….
