Definitely in my top 3 courses to play in the Coachella Valley. Tip top shape, great layout. It was incredibly slow ahead of us which resulted in close to a 5 hour round - barely finished on a 1:12 tee time. Will be back!

OK course, but not a typical desert course

Fairly flat with thick rough and some water. I was expecting more desert conditions on the course. Sand bunkers were hard with very little sand. Greens were fast and fair.

Fun course but difficult

Enjoyed the course but challenging. Lots of elevated fairways and greens. Hard greens that don’t hold approach shots well. Few tight fairways with close OB and homes so premium on accuracy. Great clubhouse.

Beautiful location

Great course located in a beautiful setting. Pristine fairways, greens extremely firm, but quite marked as players don’t seem to be very diligent at repairing pitch marks which is a shame.

Played yesterday well over 100F. Course in great shape. They need Marshalls to speed play along . Round well over five hours because of a slow group ahead.

slow play

there should be a marshal with some authority to move slow players along. I realize they paid too but consideration should be given more to those who want a max 4 hr rd.. 4-1/2 rounds are ridiculous. Il liked the course but will not play PGA courses any more because too slow for the price im paying!!!

We genuinely appreciate you taking the time to share this, and we hear you — when you're paying a premium to play, pace matters. That's exactly why we take it seriously here at the Norman Course. Our marshals actively monitor and enforce a 4:30 pace of play standard, which is printed on every scorecard, and our operations team tracks every round through GPS data throughout the day. Based on your review, your group completed the round right around that 4:30 mark — which means our team delivered on the standard we set, albeit right at the limit of it. We know that may still feel slower than you'd like, and that's a fair personal preference. But we want you to know this isn't a course where slow play is ignored — it's one we actively manage every single day. We'd love to have you back and hope that context gives you a little more confidence in what to expect.
