Got a great deal for this course and turned out that every detail of this course was outstanding. Green speed is fast but smooth, just over seeded the course is in great condition.

Based on arrival down to playing the course, was great. My wife and I enjoyed the terrific views and course layout the whole time.

Annoying unfriendly Marshalls.

Wife was told she wasn't allowed to fish balls from ponds while our foursome was playing,

Never, in my 35 years of playing golf, have I ever heard of this.

.. and no. The pace of play wasn't impeded.

Sad but true. Played on a Saturday not that busy… cart path only… not sure why. Our twosome was paired with a nice but elderly gentleman member… slow slow slow. We felt the need to make up for his pace. We were sandwiched between a 4some and a 2some (members) who were on us constantly. The greens were burnt and inconsistent. We finished at 3:50pm… thinking let’s have a drink. NOPE they closed the bar early… wasn’t supposed to close until 5:00. No drink… it was a waste of time and money. This was the start of our vacation poor start for sure.

A boring course but in great condition. Pace was a bit slow.

This is a typical Pete Dye course where no good shot goes unpunished. The greens are all elevated and surrounded with mounds and bunkers, rewarding luck over shotmaking.

The staff in the Golfshop were condescending. No cheerful welcome on our check-in. Furthermore, after paying my green fee, and checking on my clubs, I returned to buy a pokerchip ball mark. My request to pay for the pokerchip was met with a scowl and groan.

Clubhouse bar / restaurant was closed at 5:00 pm.

The Dunes Course is always a challenge, but a fun one. The course is well maintained with gray fairways and greens.

Only problem was the slow groups in front, and a lack of marshaling to allow the rest of us to play at a reasonable pace.

Invited another couple to join us on their anniversary and were surprised that it was cart path only !

Our friends were disappointed after we have over sold the Greg Norman course

Started at 1:30 and finished hole 16 as sun going down. Really enjoyed our round due to weather, course condition and beauty of desert.

Course of play was slow as we got to hole 10.

Marshall’s were friendly and informative.

Will definitely play this course again.

Maybe one reason it takes so long to play this course is that some players walk the course and are not required to keep up with the group ahead.

Paid $80 and got 13 holes in - great value on an excellent course!

Returning to the Norman course is always enjoyable and fun. The course layout is varied and the maintenance from tee to green excellent. Pace of play was good. A pity that the bar closes at 4pm which did not allow for an after-game drink.
