About The Resort at Pelican Hill
The Resort at Pelican Hill is one of SoCal's trendiest getaways, whether it's for golf or to unwind. The resort takes inspiration from the 16th century Italian architect Andrea Palladio. Each one-story bungalow guest room or suite features its own limestone fireplace, private terrace and marble bath. The 2- to 4-bedroom villas are secluded within their own gated community. Could be Pebble Beach South except for…
Fantastic course. Great staff. Terrific setting. Needs more persistent ‘player assistance’ (waited a bit too much for the $) and having no on course food or snack bar at turn (no turn) and Cart Girl only has ‘snacks’ was disappointing. Will be back, but compared to Monarch Beach at 40% lower green fees and better on course amenities, they’ll keep getting more of my business.

Please Pick It Up!
For the money, which is EXPENSIVE, it’s not that we were in a rush, but the group in front of us who sucked, were using a protractor to help line up their putts. As a result, WAY TOO SLOW. A Marshall should be marshaling.
That said, great day with great friends.

Not worth it
Paid $250 to play a 5 hour and 15 minute round. Clubhouse is nice, but the greens are ridiculous. It’s like mini golf. You could have a 6 foot putt and if you don’t make it, it rolls 20 feet off the green. This isn’t the PGA tour. Make the course fair.

Fees should’ve been reduced for the weather
Very bad rain forecast so they just decided to no open the driving range, no drink cart etc. I assume they cut staff because obviously a lot of reservations were canceled but why should the people willing to golf with the poor weather pay full price when not all the usual amenities are available? Awesome course but definitely should’ve been a reduced rate since they reduced the experience.
