Legends at Orange Lake
Arnold Palmer layout. One of my local favorites. Worth the play.
Great day!! Must play!!
Played the course in 3 hours 15 minutes. Did not encounter anybody else until hole 16. Course is a fun layout. Tee boxes, fairways, traps and greens in awesome shape. Lots of wildlife to be seen. Only complaint is finding the course on property.
Course in excellent shape.
Course in great shape. It is a thousand times better than 2 years ago when I last played it
Always nice to play.
Decent place to play, nice conditions from tee to green.
Great course and even better staff
The course was great I really enjoyed playing it. Enough room to miss and still be able to play and some demanding shots into greens to be very interesting. Kudos to Roger the course marshal. He was the best I have ever encountered. When it slowed down to some play in front after 8 & 9, he came over and talked about how frustrating slow play can be an offered to let me go replay the front 9 since no one was playing there then resume the back nine when the slow groups were finished. This unbelievable service. I wish every course had marshals like Roger. He not only understood what was happening and did everything he could to make it better. Not just sit and watch. I went away after my round happy as I could be and not with a sour taste in my mouth from pace of play.
Great Day
It was a good day of golf. If I had recommendations, it would be better signage on the course (Preserve). Also, a refreshment cart would have been great.
Good place to go
I have played this course many times and must say that it is in good condition. Tee boxes are mostly very good, as well as the fairways. Bunkers would need some attention. Greens were good but a little too slow. The pace was rather to slow – we played in the afternoon and expected it faster as there were twosomes in front of us only… Overall it is a good place to go, with some challenges. The twilight rate is very good.
Great layout!
Fun course design. Lots of trouble but plenty of room to play away. Good risk reward. First impression at bag drop and pro shop were less than impressive. Got better with the starter who was great and the cart guy post round. Drink cart was good too. Greens were true and moderately fast. Good same in bunkers. Would definitely play again.
Awesome night with the boys
We hosted a group event with 15 or so guys. Awesome awesome time! Course is nice, staff is friendly, just an overall great time. Night golf is unique and fun. Highly recommend this course!
A ton of fun
This 9 hole walking course was a blast! Some friends and I went out to celebrate a special occasion, and we couldn't have had a better time. Staff was friendly, the course was in great shape, and even though its a par 3 course, there are some challenging holes for sure! The greens are small enough to make you sweat on the tee box, even if it's only 130 yards. I can't wait to play here again, and show some of my other friends what a great time it is out there. Would recommend to anyone!
Lots of Sand traps
Although first time playing the course found it to be very challenging. Lots of Sand both bunkers and waste areas. Need to play more than once to get a real feel for the course. Par 3's very challenging and mostly all care to the green.
Great improvement!
This course has been greatly improved since new management took over. Well groomed fairways, greens, and tee boxes. Enjoyed playing this course immensely. Highly recommended!
Much Better than Anticipated
First time playing the reserve having already played Legends, I found the conditions to be quite comparable. This course was certainly challenging from the tips and very tight at spots. Enjoyable layout and the par 3's were beautiful. If they only dropped the rate $10-20 to equal comparable courses in the area, I could see this being a regular spot for me when I am in Orlando.
